The Adjustment Bureau was an amazing movie. The acting was very quality and I thought the story was very good. I kept tearing up at many parts of the movie and I highly recommend this film. Thumbs up

Ahh I love movies, why not everyone share their some of their favourite movies?

Mine include Sci-fi, dramas, comedies, anything unique and good to watch, getting older now so dont like too much of the action movies with silly diagaloue and same old predictable stories, etc, but here goes:

Aliens
Last of the Mohicans
Terminator series
Pulp Fiction
Heat
Se7en
Back to the Future series
Groundhog Day
The Fountain
Requiem for a Dream
Titanic
Braveheart
True Lies
Avatar
Dark City
Toy Story series
Gattaca
Inception
Lolita
Bruce Almighty
Ghost Busters
Sixth Sense
The Ghost
Some of the Jap Animes like Nausicca, Laputa, etc by Gushibi or whatever his spelling is
Probably some others as well especially comedies I cant remember atm Smile

Disappointed actually, liked the idea, but just could of been much better. Similar movies had good ideas but didnt pull it off well enough at all, like In Time, Surrogate, etc... just to say since I like sci-fis... the best thing about the movie was EMily Blunt looked hot and I love the toilet scene, made me wanna **** her!

I checked out 30 Minutes or Less last night.. didn't have high expectations but it was actually pretty good. Aziz Ansari killed it.

What do you think they could have done differently? How did you think it could have been better?

St_Nick09_of_Goal wrote:Anyone watched Super 8? Great movie

OVerrated, as someone mentioned, they tried to combine the old ET Spielberg feel with the Abram Cloverfield feel into one movie, but just not my taste... POV scary just doesnt mix well with childish dialogue and story.

Lex wrote:Just finished watching Apocalypto with my mum. Imagine my shock horror surprise to find Mel Gibson was the mastermind behind that awesome film. Must get it on DVD pronto....

Ur mum has a strong stomach, pretty sick moments it had!

Messiakanino wrote:yup The Butterfly Affect is a top movie.
And yes i recommend Limitless to whoever hasn't watched it.

But my fav movie of the year so far has been 'Source Code'
Anyone seen it?
If you haven't i recommend it, it's amazing

Didnt like Source Code for some reason, it was all in a box, the office and the train Razz

BarrileteCosmico wrote:Watched Super 8 yesterday. Felt like a remake of ET, although I'm sure that was done on purpose.

xabi wrote:guys you need to check out Requiem for a dream pretty sick movie. You wont regret it.

actually i found it a bit dull, not a movie of my taste TBH.
Going to watch Paul or The Adjustment Bureau tonight, any recomendations?

Requiem awesome movie. Has anyone seen that movie The Fountain by the same director? Highly recommended!

Sushi Master wrote:Denzel Washington is pure class. I did just that a few months ago, actually. Man of Fire is probably the best, but Training Day is close behind.

Along with other good actors of this generation is Dicaprio. I seriously hated the guy back when he was on Titanic, but he's in frakking awesome movies now.

Gangs of New York, Catch me if you Can (2002)
The Aviator (2004)
The Departed, Blood Diamond (2006)
Body of Lies (2008)
Shutter Island (2010)
Inception :coffee:

di carpio gets the best films most of the times.

though the beach , blood diamond and inceptions are my faves

Same here, dont like some of his other movies actually. Btw The Departed is a piece of cr4p remake, the most overrated movie ever! The original Hong Kong movies (3 parts) are the real deal, go watch them Razz

And I remember watching DiCaprio were he was a teenager, basketball diaries and he already had talent then Smile

ronaldo__9 wrote:DiCaprio is great.

For me though, I feel Ryan Gosling is sort of underrated, he's got a great talent for acting, imo.

I remember Gosling used to be a teen clean cut boy loool, never thought he would become a stud and big actor Laughing

DagenhamDave wrote:American history X is one of my favourite films of all time. controversial, no holds barred and some of the best performances of Furlong and Nortons career.

saw X-men first class saturday night and i have to say that it is probably the best super hero movie i have ever seen. mcavoy and fassbender are amazing as xavier and magneto. some amazing action sequences and very good cast of mutants.
cant wait for x-men first class 2, hopefully with mr. sinister

U guys know that Norton made his made in that Richard Gere movie where he stole the show right? Cant recall the name...

Cant explain Tetra, cant remember all the details, but Ive watched lots of movies...makes my expectations high... Razz Anyway, I had high expectations for this movie and were disappointed though. Probably at times I dont expect much from a movie but then I get surprised at how good it is and like it, eg. recently is the Social Network...

similar ending, too. I love getting mind frakked

3-boob chick's making a comeback in the remake!

Pretty stoked for that honestly.

Also, Sharon Stone was possibly the hottest she's ever been in that movie.

Damn, watched it when I was younger, didnt realise it was Sharon Stone... I remember the 3 boobed alien though ROFL! Looking forward to the remake.... Kate and Jessica Biel.... damn I wish they would show their boobs Afro

The Adjustment Bureau had so much potential and I was enjoying it...up until they got to the ending. I'm not gonna spoil it for anyone, but it seemed as though the writers didn't know how to end it and just rushed it.

 <--- was my expression after I finished it.

As an actress Sharon Stone >> Jessica Biel

Looks wise(with both in their prime) Jessica Biel >> Sharon Stone

A little OT, I still can't believe Jeter had both Jessicas. That dude is a boss. His list > any actor, athlete, celebrity, whatever.
