Obviously, but the whole list was frackked from the start so no surprises there...

I'm surprised Alves and Busquets aren't in the top 10. I'm now afraid I'll see Barry/Milner there.

I swear to god De Rossi and Puyol and Hulk are the only ones who are arguably better than benzema up to 31 Laughing

Di Maria and Hulk are debatable rather than laughable

I cant stand Di Maria and I dont think I could ever take him at Inter but you cant deny the way he racks up assists

Eh, the Di Maria hate is ridiculous...

Everyone is better than him despite him absolutely killing the assist chart atm and probably will end up as the assist leader if he keeps it up...

But Hulk, Reus Bale and co. > Di Maria

Di Maria isnt better than Hulk.

In Portugal, that was very obvious. Only now Di Maria is at Madrid he is better known, therefore somehow as good.

He has been a different player this season.

He plays deeper sometimes. Can be used as a CM etc

Whenever our midfield is suffering we drop him deeper so he helps out thanks to his great long passing and his pressing. Watch some highlights, his overall play has became really great, he doesn't use as many turnovers anymore and does not get dispossesed as much (and that is also confirmed by statistics)

I can't speak for Hulk.....but Di Maria has vastly improved..........final ball is better....crossing.......his pressing is more direct......he loses the ball alot less....

TBF I think Hulk is easily better than him on the right purely as an attacker.

Di Maria would be better on the left and if you take into account his defensive work the gap isn't that huge......it is probably still there.

I'd like to see Hulk perform on the big stage, where Di Maria has stepped up. For now, he can stay in the vastly inferior Portugese league, playing against adelante level sides week in and week out.

Hulk, 23 goals in 26 games last season under AVB. 7 in 11 this season, 4 in 6 CL games.

But stats are whatever.

I dont think its coincidence that in Portugal Hulk was clearly better, all of a sudden Di Maria moved to Madrid and now he is better/as good.

Di Maria was young.....young players improve......Mourinhio is his coach now.....no coincidence.

I don't compare him but you have to admit the guy has improved ALOT.

But anyone who has seen Madrid this season can clearly tell you he is not the same player as last season. Also, he isn't even playing the same way as he did last season. He is more than a winger this season. He plays deeper. More involved in our play.

His final ball has been so great this season Mou even played him as a AM vs Sevilla. Last season I can guarantee you he didn't have half as good as passing he has been having this season.

Also I've to agree with LM. Hulk can talk when he does it in the big stage, where Di Maria has performed superb.
