Two massive clubs that are massively supported, what do you expect? Although I do not know if they are overrated since they really are top clubs

If Goallegacy was in 2001, this place would be buzzing about Juventus and Madrid and Arsenal
if in 2005 this place will be buzzing about Liverpool and Milan
if in 2008, this place will be buzzing about United and Chelsea

Overrated? Apart from the Real Madrid fans, not many others (that I'm aware of) put them on the same level as Barcelona. Barcelona are rated by everyone, but Real Madrid are only hyped by the Madrid fans. Same thing with Bayern and their fans. The only reason you'd think that the whole forum rates or overrate them is because they have plenty of posters here, but fans of other teams, while they rate them very highly, don't really rate them as highly as the RM fans do.
Real Madrid are a great team in their own right, but their fans would make you believe they're even better than Barcelona = overrated.
Barcelona are overrated by some in the sense that some think they are invincible, which isn't true imo but most posters just rate them fairly.

Real definitely are. Fanboys act as if most of their 9 titles did not come in the 50's but in the last 5-6 years.

Are they overrated!? Barca have dominated for quite a lot of years. Madrid with Mourinho reached the semis in Champions League last season, won the Spanish cup and ended second in the league - beating one record after the other.
