It's alright especially for low budget stuffs. They do have the spirit of the game down, a bit short though. Rebirth is better imo.

I agree they have done a good job for a low budget show. I love Mortal combat. If they can get money I am sure this can be a big hit around the world.

I love the game but for movie, it will require some serious writing, most of fighting games do. The game structure is simple, you go in arena you fight and rip you opponents apart, the players motivation is simple, kill the next guy. For the film, it would get old quick. This is why I love original Street Fighter & original MK, it's so campy and doesn't take themselves seriously, you feel like you play a game instead of the movie, you're just happy to see your favorite characters on screen. Rebirth & Legacy both have decent writing, much better than that crap legend of chun li.

watch the raiden episode, probably the best. the cyrax and sektor ep is done well too. the guy who made these shorts has been lined up to make the new movie

Yessir, pretty good too IMO, although it's annoying that the season ended only part way through the tournament. Dat Scorpion - Sub Zero storyline tho , and the guy who played Shang Tsung in the movie playing him again

It would have been cool to see Goro...
