I wouldn't be surprised if Pep choses Cesc over Rafinha but I don't think Cesc plays as well in the false 9 position than in the midfield.

We only have a 1-0 lead going in to this, so we shouldn't take it for granted. I'd like a few experienced players in the lineup. I'd like to see Roberto and Rafinha, but I wouldn't be surprised if Pep is a bit cautious.
He might go with something like this:
or maybe...
Thiago - Sergio B. - Roberto in mids.
Rafinha impressed me... hope he plays.

Surprised not to see Deulofeu in there, but considering that only 4 players from the B team can play at the same time, and Cuenca is ahead of him, it's normal.

Why is Tello in the squad and not Deulofeu? Tello is garbage. Probably Pep doesn't like Deulofeu attitude and is giving call=up to humble but garbage Tello. I hope that headless chicken Tello won't play, he was useless in first leg.
i have hope in all canteranos except Tello. Draw for 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 of CdR is tomorrow at 10:00 CET.

I'm not a big fan of Tello, but saying he is garbage is too harsh. He is not our worst young forward and he has been a regular with Barça B. He is playing and contributing more than Rodri or Femenia for instances. Second top goal scorer at the B, with 4 goals, after Rafinha with 5. I don't think he'll make it at Barça, though. He is very fast.

I kind of want to see Fontas back in the holding mid role just for today. Not holding my breath on that one though.. lol.

5-0 at HT. Pedro, Iniesta, Thiago, Xavi and Tello scored.
Iniesta seems that has picked up a muscle injury.

8-0
Thiago scored from a penalty on Cuenca (this time was real) and Tello scored his second in a superb finish.

Re: Copa del Rey (Round 32 - 2nd leg): FCBarcelona vs Hospitalet
9-0 Cuenca scored from Cesc pass. Cuenca has been superb, probably MOM. Everyone played well, Hospitalet didn't put a fight to be fair.
Eager to see more of these guys in action, especially JDS who seems so improved. Fontas should be given more minutes in more important games too.
Ps. For Khaled: we established the record for Barça of 170 goals in a natural year (don't know if also for any team). 3,3 goals per game.
Iniesta 15 days injured, could be back against Espanyol, but will miss the next Copa game. Hope he recovers well. Wished he didn't suffer so many small injuries, but at least we know that he comes back better from every injury, he is like Son Goku.

Amazing display. Everyone was on fire so won't take any names. Would only like to mention Tello's second : exquisite finish.

Re: Copa del Rey (Round 32 - 2nd leg): FCBarcelona vs Hospitalet
FCBarcelona 9 - 0 Hospitalet FT
This match is a lesson for matpol don't judge a player from one match, especially if it was his debut.. Tello had a great game (played for 61 minutes) 2 goal, 1 assists, showed some great skills on the LW.. yes its vs a 3rd division team.. but still i liked his confidence..
Cuenca was great too ( 2 goals, 2 penalties won, although the first was a DIVE, reminds me of divemaria )
Barca B players SergiRoberto, Cuenca, JDS & especially Tello did a very gd job.. JDS & Sergi Roberto did great job in the midfield, although sergi had 2 easy chances to score
`Goals:
Pedro ( penalty won by Cuenca)
Iniesta (assists by Cesc)
Thiago (/ no assist)
Xavi (assist by Cesc)
Tello (/)
Cuenca (assist by Tello )
Thiago ( Penalty won by Cuenca)
Tello (assist by SergiRoberto )
Cuenca ( assist by Cesc )
~ Stats:
- Xavi scored his 8th goal this season.
- Cesc provided the 9th assist for him this season [ 11goals, 9assists in 15starts, 21matches]
- Tello is the 18th Barca player to score this season.
- FCBarcelona already scored 95goals this season (11/12) & conceded just 16 in 29matches [22W, 6D, 1L], 3 trophies won, still 3 trophies to play for..
- As Free mentioned that Barca scored 170goals in 2011 [New Spanish Record].
- Iniesta is out for 2 weeks, he should be available to face Espanyol in 15 days [ 7-1-2012 away].

Oh the irony. I said pre game this game would end 10-0 and it would be totally boring with a dominant display from Barca in sarcasm to avoid watching it. (we were hanging and playing FIFA) And it ends 9-0. :lol!:
Ah well, good job from your youngsters.

Other than that dive for the first goal I thought Cuenca was excellent.
He comes from the same oven, but he's of a different mold.

Tello surprised me. He wasn't playing like headless chicken, some good dribbles and passes, 2 goals, 1 assists. Maybe he isn't that bad like I thought or it was just Hospi.
Pedro was terrible, again. He is so bad in this season, yet people doesn't criticise him, instead Villa is getting blame. As for now Pedro is last in pecking order for front line, Cuenca is much better than him. TBH Pedro's first touch is probably the worst in the team. Where is his finishing?

Jesus man, today obviously didn't teach you anything about putting down our players. One would think you would be a little humble after the terrible Tello posts.
Pedro has been amazing for us for the past 2 years and he gets injured this year and hasn't been back to his best yet and you kill him in a game we win 9-0. Sometimes I wonder why I waste my time in these forums.

We should definitely put faith in Pedro. We know what he can do, it is just a matter of him finding his feet.
