Those are the 11 players that should take to the field, but I'm not so sure about that formation. Trying to pin down a formation is futile, last time Pep was flexible and reacted to the situation.

Start with a 4-3-3 and adapt.

Hmm, We could not handle Betis right with 3-4-3. It proved too much for us. How do you think we fare with madrid having 3 at the back?

Hope Valdes plays instead (even if its unrealistic)... it a big match, Pinto is good but we loose a big chunk of our potential when he replaces Valdes in bigger matches as this one.

Anyhow think the formation will move to 4-3-3 again and look something like :

and obviously if Cesc benches then he joins in second half... i dunno just a thought.


Both teams have a few holes in their game, defenses do not look sharp but Classico day everything can be different as we all know... hope we come out on top but ill take a tie at this stage ! Visca el Barca.

Unfortunately Real Madrid is packed with injured players atm, so it might be a pretty one sided Clasico.

I don't think the injured players we have are vital to win.

He's one of your best and most important players, when will this guy get the credit he truly deserves?

One of the most creative and dangerous wingers in europe IMO if not the most, because he dives dont make him shit same as Busquets.

Anyway another Clasico? Meh.

I agree with Casillas all these constant Clasico's are taking the shine off the occasion just feels like another game now.

Also agree with Free, scrap the 3-4-3 it unbalances the team and one of the reasons so many points have been dropped.

thats true, btw and whats this bs about creativity? Hes an explosive winger, he can outrun his opponents or just create alot of space by himself to give away a pass or so. No way in hell is he creative, hes lack of brains and pass quality are bad at times, he must really improve himself.

Compare him to özil for instance. Half of di marias assists are from crosses to 18 yard box or quick side passes, thats not what defies creativity.
Yet there has been many games, where di maria has been dissapointing and stupid. He even had a bad start in this seasons la liga ffs. Hes talented for so, but he always makes things harder for himself just like cr7.

Well as far as Pepe, the "more recent" news claim he will be available to play...

If Pep puts Pinto in the goal and play 3-4-3 this tie will be over after first leg;/ I hope he will play Valdes and 4-3-3 but I doubt this. With Pinto in the goal Puyol's 50 game unbeaten streak is in very high doubt.
