Juve vs Barca

How would a current Juve-Barca game go? Tbis is tbe strongest Juve have been in a while, and the weakest Barca since 07. Both play very attractive possession football, tho I know Barcas attack is definitely better, the rest is comparable. How would this go?

I know Barca will win more often than not, I was asking what you guys think the score would be? What about in a 2 round knockout?

Secondly, Juve play take their time, possession football. Real plays the way Juve used to play, relying on speed and counter attacking. So Juve being a "poor man's Madrid" doesnt make any sense, and therefore ABC logic saying "Barca > Real, so Barca > Juve" doesnt work either. Juve is more of a poor mans Barca, but really that is insulting to Juve, as while Juve may not be as strong as Barca, we're still a very strong squad. I think this would be alot closer than people think.

And Barca is suddenly back to their best because they beat up on Santos and won the Classico? Gimme a break. They are quite a bit weaker than their 08/09 and 10/11 levels. More on their 09/10 levels, but still not quite as strong in my opinion.

Firstly, every iteration of barca is superior to 09 barca. They are still playing at a high level the problem is their lack of width which they had when Pedro, that is why whenever Cuenca has played they have looked better as a team. This whole possession football is way out of context. Most big teams have more possession of the all than most. Again juventus would probably give barcelona more trouble than most teams. Italian teams seem to fair better against them, but they would still lose IMO.

Weakest Barca since 07?

While Juve like any other Italian teams should give Barca a run for their money, I still see Barca edges this encounter...

in a knockout format? If Juve successfully parked a tank over the 2 leg then anything could happen on penalties.

You would win before the match, then afterwards wake up to the reality.

How would it go? Well obviously one cannot give the right answer because its totally speculating, but my best guess would be that Juve would get destroyed.

OK buffon> valdes... but puyol , pique> chiellini barzagli bonucci and the fullbacks are about 20x better on barca.

Okay, I would take Juves center defense over Barcas with Barzagli back to his very best, but fullbacks would go to Barcelona. Midfield would be close and with Xavi and Iniesta in a slight decline, I think I would rather take Juves midfield, but this could really go either way, and Barca obviously has the better attack. I think considering their performances against Milan, and Juve in great form, I think this would be a close game. Id say a 2-1 win for Barca would be the correct result.

Pique is currently one of the best defenders in the world, chiellini hasnt been world class in over two years, hes so clusmy ajd unreliable, way too many mistakes to be considered amongst the greatest.

Barzagli is in great form and was always good, just forgotten for a while, but when you compare him to the living legend and leader Puyol, he edges it. Hence why barca have the better cbs all around.

Juventus would lose convincingly, especially if the game was in Barcelona. In Torino, Juventus would still lose but play a more sound game for sure.
