Their individual quality is almost the same but the difference was Bilbao actually had a genuine tactic meant to beat Barca (press them, defend with discipline etc)

Also once again let's not forget the rain, it did help Bilbao much more than Barca...

The answer is, yes he is overrated. It's not his fault as Brasil has been looking for there next great player since they haven't been playing like Brasil lately and he is one of there best young players and the most marketable.

He is still only 19 and will get better but people want him to be the finished product right now and he's not.

I was killed on here for saying Damiao was better prepared to go to Europe and start banging in 20 goals a year, and I stand by that. It's not a shot at Neymar but more of an endoresement for Damiao.

Also, for the people on here killing Santos, they need to watch Brazilian football. IF they did they would realize that last years team is much better then this years and they have some very good players missing.

Take one look at Inter when they were in this competition a year after they won the CL and had a new coach. They had a lot of the same players but were a very different team.

Neymar is good but it's like once people FINALLY realized that CR7 wasn't better then Messi they put all there eggs in the Neymar basket and it's just unfair and stupid to compare him to Messi, also the dumb idiotic Pele statements didn't help either.
