Just as a reminder, the first leg of the Semifinal of the FA Youth Cup will take place tonight against Liverpool at Anfield. Coverage on Chelsea TV starts at 6.30 BST with FNL, featuring Frank Sinclair and special guest Seb Coe, followed by the match itself.

Liverpool played like the away side for most of the night and Chelsea will feel they deserved their win. Classy Pool fans booed both goals, as well as Andreas Christensen when he went down injured.

Perhaps even more enjoyable than the match itself was going onto the LFC Forum to read their excuses for their loss. Everything from the referee, to the "youth and inexperience" of their side compared to Chelsea's (which one brilliant poster kindly pointed out was incorrect, as Chelsea's team was actually younger than Liverpool's), to Chelsea being a "lucky", "counter-attacking" side "with little actual quality", etc.
Apparently Liverpool fans are as bitter, blinkered, and delusional at Youth level as they are at Senior level.

It's 1-1 on aggregate after 180 minutes between Nottingham Forest and Norwich in the semifinal 2nd leg that will decide the first finalist in the FA Youth Cup. Heading into 30 minutes ET now.

Norwich win 5-4 on penalties and will face either Chelsea - who of course already lead 2-0 in the tie with the home leg to be played on Friday - or Liverpool in the Final.

The second leg of the FA Youth Cup Semifinals between Chelsea and Liverpool will be played this evening at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea of course go into this with a 2-0 lead after 2 late goals from Alex Kiwomya snatched Chelsea a victory at Anfield that definitely puts them in the driving seat in this tie. Chelsea TV coverage of the match starts at 7:30 BST.

HALFTIME: Chelsea 2-1 Liverpool

After going behind to a poorly conceded first goal from Liverpool, a brilliant counterattack finished off by Swifty and a Terry-esque header from Nathan Ake at the death have the Baby Blues firmly in the driving seat in this tie. The History Boys now need to score 4 goals in 45 minutes whilst conceding 0 to go through.

Fairly even match so far with Chelsea perhaps just slightly edging it. A few missed sitters -- namely from Feruz -- and a goal-line clearance have kept Chelsea scoreless while Norwich have done well themselves on the counter. 7 minutes to halftime.

HT: Norwich 0-0 Chelsea

The Baby Blues come close seconds before the break as a header from a corner comes perilously close to becoming the game's opener, but it's not all the way over the line, and Feruz puts the follow-up from a few yards out wide.

The away side have clearly had the better of the chances, and will consider themselves very unlucky not to be ahead by this point, but Norwich have proved a quality side themselves and their physical superiority over Chelsea is very evident.

Former Chelsea youth player McGeehan steps up and buries it in the roof of the net. Referee blows the whistle and Norwich will take a 1-0 lead to Stamford Bridge in the second leg.

Hardly insurmountable but a silly goal to give away considering it was initiated by Ruben Loftus-Cheek miscontrolling a simple pass which put Norwich through.
