Kaka

Ozil is other type of player, a classic 10, who grows in play by age. Kaka is more of a SS, lose pace, lose player.
I personally think Ozil will be on the same level as Zidane, but he has to work. He is now discovering his skills, Kaka lost them. That's my opinion.

kaka is finished and old and ozil flops on the big occasions. rm find a new playmaker.

im not going to defend kaka on this one,because hes isnt WC anymore,but seriously,Ozil has been unimpressive this season imo.

I agree with Franchise on this: Kaka was shit once he came in. Sure, he skimmed a few players and was flashy, but what end product did he provide?

As soon as Kaka was on, Madrid gave up. Afterwards Barcelona monopolized possession as usual. With Oezil on Madrid actually showed some balls, and that's much more important to me than reputation or flashy tricks that had no end product.

Madrid gave up after the 3rd goal not because kaka came on....

That doesn't excuse him not producing anything during the last half hour. If he's so good and world class or whatever, these sort of players have the capacity to change games by their own. Kaka is past this moment.

The overall problem isn't Kaka, though, it's Madrid in general and how they just bended over and took it up the ass in their own backyard, during a title match and derby.

Well at least he tried hard to pull something out,and he almost scored.problem was that he found himself most of the time on 1 vs 1 situations against pique/puyol since cr was playing like shet and Benz was on the box.ozil did nothing other than simple passes on the center of the midfield(that assist was pure fluke)

He should have subbed Ronaldo, not Ozil.

A team cant afford to have one player that doesnt contribute defensively in this kind of match, let alone two.

firstly i agree a little with hispano..even last season when ozil was in impressive form he had a moment of magic every one in a while and also ozil is slower than kaka and kaka with sneijder are the best Ams in the world who could bring the ball forward in a fast counter-attacking system as shown in kaka's first clasico when he set up ronaldo and he kept missing them..
second ozil has been unimpressive this season and kaka may not have played awesome but he didnt play as much as ozil and he put in some MOTM performances for example vs ajax he man of the match and vs espanyol he was impressive and vs villareal he was also impressive

also another stat : kaka has four goals and 8 assists in 16 games in all competitions this season and im sure most of those he came on as a sub
ozil has 2 goals and 9 assists this season in 22 games in all competitions this season and most of those he started the game

Football isn't played on paper.

Ozil is a team player, if team doing fantastic ozil is fantastic. if not he is lost. Kaka has more individual abilities. thats why vs barca kaka looks better than ozil

Ozil vs lyon, zaragoza, ajax, rayo, barca at super copa, zagreb, osasuna was more impressive than kaka was in those games you mentioned.
Vs ajax home when they played together ozil was more impressive. Kaka was anonymous before the first goal and the game much easier and lucky that 2 only good things he did in that game worked (his goal and the pass to benzema) while ozil consistently created chances others kept missing from early until last minutes.

Kaka didn't play as much as ozil, but also didn't play in tough match or situation as much as ozil, and never had to compromise his usual game for playing out of position, taking role out of his comfort zone, & taking more responsibility defensively as ozil at times had to.
Kaka was impressive when came on as sub vs defeat opponent but didn't have impact when the game still a contest, while ozil was able to turn around the game from losing to winning big when came on as sub vs rayo.

Exactly, most of those when he came on as a sub, scoring/assisting the fourth, fifth, etc goals, rarely add anything if the game still close though, and rarely add anything when starting either unless he's in the walk in the park situation. Recently when starting he was even anonymous and got outplayed vs third division club in cdr.
