Real Madrid break group stage records
Real Madrid put in the most dominant group stage performance in UCL history
6 wins which has only ever been done by AC Milan in 92/93, PSG in 94/95 and Barcelona in 02/03
Furthermore Real Madrid broke its own group stage goal record of 17 set in 1998/1999 with 19 this season, just one goal shy of Man Utd's 20 goal record set in 1998/1999.
Jose Mourinho is a defensive coach
We didn't have the easiest of groups either with the likes of Lyon and Ajax pitted against us (lol Zagreb).
Can you think of a more dominant group stage performance?

Re: Real Madrid break group stage records
never understood how people said madrid are just a defensive team. they had to only watch some clasicos last season, because that was the only time they've been "defensive"

Ok lol, keep thinking Lyon and Ajax are powerhouses to be feared.......
Barca, Bayern, Chelsea, Arsenal, Napoli, AC Milan ect etc would all smash Lyon with something to spare ffs.

Re: Real Madrid break group stage records
A Lyon plagued by injuries & an Ajax with so much infighting they make the news on an almost daily basis. And Zagreb. This was not a hard group.
That being said congratulations on the record

~ Barca Record 2011/2012 : 20goals in CL ( equalled Manutd record)
+16 (goal difference)
One more thing, thx to linesman Realmadrid has +17 goal difference ( it should be +15 | 2 disallowed goals for ajax) #jusayin :mental:

How many disallowed goals will we have this Saturday
But On Topic: Real Madrid is definitely not a defensive team, and today most of our star players didn't even play!

Re: Real Madrid break group stage records
The group wasn't super tough or super easy. We played very well though.
In any case nothing that happens in the group stage affects what happens in the knockout phase. Happy we qualified first and appreciate the team's effort and good football so far.

Re: Real Madrid break group stage records
Why would Real Madrid play defensively against teams in the group stage?
Very impressive from Madrid, Mourinho knows how to get the most out of his teams

You can keep harping on about la farcia, doesn't change the fact that your club is defined by foreigners.
Gamper ur found is Swiss. Kuala ain't from your youth, neither is Cruyffs, neither is Maradona, neither are laudrup and Romario, neither are ronaldinho, deco, eto, rival do Nd R9.
