You have no idea how crucial those goals were for Man City do you? At that time, Man city's sole target was league survival. those goals he scored are goals that basically financed the club, kept them in business and saved them from fallen into the lower depths of the football league.

For Man City, those goals were just as important as WC or CL Final goals, Thats how important they were. The team was obviously very bad but for Kinkladze to put on display and display consitently for that level of team against not the relegation threatend teams butthe totle contenders shows how talented the guy was.

Yeah, those in the CL may mean more to you but ask any fan about which goal would mean more to them, one that wins a CL or one that saves your club from certain bankruptcy and I think the answer is obvious.
