Why would he leave before then? He's making good money, he's a god in Brazil, his family + new child are in Brazil and he's only 19. He can ride the wave until the WC and then make a big move right after... and he'll only be 22.

Unless he just gets bored and needs a new challenge immediately, i see the logic in staying.

The prestige is in Europe... The best players in the world are in Europe... I think that's enough reason lol

He's 19 and makes just as much money in Brazil now than he would in Europe (or close). Argentinians move to Europe very early now because their domestic league is small time... not so much with Brazilians. Brazil league is elite and very popular. If he were older and had a small window, i would say he'd move to Europe for sure. But since he'll only be 22 in 2014, he can have the best of both worlds: Become a national legend in Brazil and then move to Europe at still a young age.

Exactly. What we missed throughout the season is the midfield. 2 guys (who by the way aren't the fastest dudes around) in our midfield were overrun too many times throughout the season. I have absolutely no clue what Mou is planing to do about it as we have an unused Sahin on the bench, but we need to do something.

Up front, we can choose between two very talented strikers who can go throughout the game without really seeing the ball - this needs fixing, but imo, it's largly due to our wings and ozil having to go back to get the ball - midfield issue. Benzema was good for us because he could go back and contribute to the build up play, he's skillful enough to do that, but we need to play to a clinical striker imo up front (not really saying Benz can't be that guy for us but we need to play that style - creative game with a clinical striker who converts the chances).

We do need another creative attacker though. To replace Kaka and be the long term RW solution (don't trust Di Maria). Of course, MF is the first priority, but buying Javi and playing Sahin would solve that real quickly.

tbh i dont think we "really" need to get anyone. there are tweaks in the midfield and defense that need to be made but as far as the attack i think we should leave it untouched- we are scoring goals for fun why alter that dynamic
