We really need to get Neymar

tbh i dont think we "really" need to get anyone. there are tweaks in the midfield and defense that need to be made but as far as the attack i think we should leave it untouched- we are scoring goals for fun why alter that dynamic

I believe Neymar has the ability to be come the best in the world in 3 or 4 years, but I seriously don't see where he'll fit in this current team. He'll most likely do a Benzema in his first season in Madrid, the culture shock and the difference in playing style will surely hinder his initial progress.

If he rushes in here I can see another Sahin situation, a fantastic young player competing with a seasoned veteran for one spot, this time it would be a 27 year old Ronaldo and not a 30 year old Alonso.

For me the best option is to buy him and loan him to another club in Europe for experience.

You have a legitimate point. But we DO need to replace Kaka, for all that's worth. And do you really trust Di Maria to be our no 1 RW for the long term? Do you think he is good/consistent enough?

we do need to replace kaka- im all for replacing squad players that want to leave- higuain included.

as for di maria- i have probably been the biggest hater since he arrived but as for our style of play we need a RW who is as tireless as di maria who tracks back as much as he does purely out of necessity because of our weak midfield.

for the longest time i didnt think di maria was madrid quality but just looking at how poor we have played without him, for a while it looked like we lost that killer/clinical instinct.

so even though he may not be consistent enough, may make lots of silly errors and give the ball up there is no other winger like him that can get up and down the pitch and play well defensively so di maria is our best option atm.

----i also have faith that he improves his turnover rate as he matures

madrid should get him to stop barca from getting him

i just dont like the idea of neymar facing this madrid defence if it doesnt change
