He's been showing it so far right?

Eriksen is not overrated, what are you on about? He's been Spurs best player this season and hasn't even settled in England yet!

And Willian is a fraud. I was the only against the signing in the Liverpool section, I was actually hoping Spurs / Chelsea WOULD hi jack the deal. He's the Brazilian Gervinho ffs.

Dude is a straight baller. Dortmound could have went with Erikesn and save 10M from Mkh.

He was overlooked because he played in the Eredivisie and it's always a risk when signing a player from that league. It's as simple as that.

Mkh is a different player to Eriksen. And from what I've heard, Mkh has settled in nicely.

I thought it's pretty well known that after much scouting from the Klopp/Zorc/Watzke trio, they decided to sign Mkhitaryan because of his higher work-rate, great goalscoring ability as well as creativity and because they believed Mkhitaryan would fit better in Dortmund's high-pressing game.

In the end everyone won, both Mkhitaryan and Eriksen are doing extremely well at their clubs so far.

Still bad...needs to settle in and find his place (as does everybody in the Tottenham offense) but he has class. Guess this opens up room for Holtby and Lamela, though.

Considering how quickly we get players back to full fitness I wouldn't be surprised if it took longer than 4-6 weeks. However, while I like Holtby, I think Eriksen is still our best option at CAM even though he had an atrocious game against Newcastle.

Eriksen wasn't THAT bad against Newcastle.

He could of easily had 2 assists and he'd then be a "top" contributor if the players around him could finish. He probably should of scored from 6 yards out, too.

He obviously wasn't at his best, but I do feel like he was a scapegoat against Newcastle.

He's been outstanding in 2014 so far. Happy for him though I miss him a lot. Not exactly surprised by his development. He's just incredible and I wonder how long he'll stay with Tottenham. Probably not more than just one more season.

Is anyone genuinely interested in him?

I think he's happy at Tottenham and he's developing well. I think for him and Tottenham it's better he stays at Spurs and continues to hone his skills. He's young yet but he's been very good overall, just needs to find more consistency--he disappears too often and doesn't always exert the influence he can on a game.

One of the best buys Tottenham has made in the last couple seasons, easily. Hope that if he's let go it's for nothing small.

I do think he's good enough that he'll eventually find his way to a top club, however.
