How long it's been since a prime PL player didn't chose Serie A after Premier League?.
I wasn't expecting to see him in Serie A now, let alone joining my club.
Excited to see this.
Great signing for Inter and for Serie A too
Surely the most relevant signing of this January session.
Here to follow his Italian experience

Congrats on the signing, by the way. Fantastic player, if he can regain some of his pre- world cup form.

Here is hoping he will regain his form of yesteryears.

He didn't want to be at Tottenham anymore, and it's clear from Spurs' form that there was a lot more going on than meets the eye.
This will be a good change for him. Slower league, different country (hopefully closer to what he wanted). I can see him doing really well.
I hope the best for him. It's been amazing to get to watch him most weeks for Tottenham. Nothing but love for Eriksen. And he's not finished yet. I think he'll be great at Inter

I don't think Marotta should get any credit for this. Literally there was nobody interested beside Inter in him. Marotta may be a great bargain hunter, but in this particular deal, nobody was competing with him for the Dane's signature. Hard to lose a race when you're the only one in it.
As for Eriksen, I really wanted Madrid to sign him last summer, but Zidane didn't want him, and so far, his decision is paying off because the midfield he's created is doing well and winning games for him.
I wish him all the best at Inter. Personally, I wouldn't pass up the chance of adding a player of Eriksen's caliber to my roster for just 20m, but that's just me.

You so wish you had this overrated sporting director running Milan right now.
The way he goes about his work, haggling with clubs for every penny or buying players primarily based on the how the market dictates or in his words 'market opportunities' might not sit down well with many but boy does he know how to build a squad.
Lukaku, Lautaro, Skrniar, De Vrij, Eriksen, Barella. That is a solid core of players you build your team around for the next few years. (Ofcourse some players are not his signings but you get my point).
I'm sure Conte was brought in to their club based on his recommendation.
The way he handled the Icardi saga was another masterclass. That's the kind of leadership Inter were lacking in previous years.
I don't fear Inter but I fear Beppe. He'll be the reason behind ending our stranglehold over Italy eventually.

To be honest it reminds me of Yanited marketing Pogba and Lukaku’s presentations as if they were Maradona

(this famous theater https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Scala . Milano mayor is huge Inter fan so he has facilitated this )
-> Eriksen is intended as the conductor of the midfield
It is a great message of good impact, honestly

PSG also was on him , but he didn't like to join Ligue One ...
Well therorically Eriksen could wait for June and he'd have had the whole Europe to sign him as free agent
Marotta's ability was to work with agent, convince him to join Serie A / Inter project
honestly I didn't think to see him at his peak in Serie A
Generally if people would have said me two years ago about Cristiano Ronaldo and Eriksen to join in Serie ... A I would not have believe about it tbh.
two different situations surely , but honestly it's my thought. Probably it's understimation that even Serie A fans have about their "product."
Serie A is not in their golden period , ok , but it will be always considered if there are some good conditions ( historic club, salary , and it's amazing to live in Milano if you're a rich man I've always thought Inter and Milan can count on this positive factor too... )

The new tax laws has also helped top teams in Italy offer competitive wages on par with Spain and England. I can see a lot more top foreign players make the switch in the coming years.
All the recent aquisitions such as Ronaldo, De Ligt, Ramsey, Lukaku, Godin, Eriksen etc are on all lucrative salaries which their respective teams would have found it difficult to afford in previous years.
Can't wait for PogBACK 2020
