Tottenham signing Brad Friedel has confessed his admiration for Arsenal!

Friedel has put his foot in it after admitting his admiration for north London rivals Arsenal.

“You’ve got to applaud the way Arsenal play," said the former Aston Villa keeper.

“I know they haven’t won trophies for six years but that’s the team I really admire.

“Arsene Wenger sticks to his guns on the principles of the way they play football and the principles of the business of the club. That is something to be admired.

“I would have loved to have played in that Arsenal team when they had a back-four of Lee Dixon, Tony Adams, Martin Keown and Nigel Winterburn, with Emmanuel Petit and Patrick Vieira just in front. What a special team that was.”

for those of you who aren't familiar with Brad Friedel... he's probably the most consistent keeper in the Premier League, the most experienced.. and him signing for Tottenham is BAD NEWS for us..
