Anyone catching up on the Australia-Sri Lanka series ?
Australia absolutely getting battered
Lost the first test. About to lose the second one too. To one of the worst Sri Lankan teams in like 25 years

Ragana Herath is having a field day out there. I'm guessing they're playing on dust bowls.
Saw India were wracking up the runs against the WIndies.

Yea EG. Australia barely got past 100 ffs.
If only England could have bowled like this yesterday... Can see Pakistan give a lead of 90-120 runs which is bad but could have been worse. England just need to slow it down. Easier said than done.

Yea but then some random pleb named Chaser hit a ton to help them save the match. Indian bowling especially pace bowling is and has been worser than the worst, now and always. Umesh Yadav and Ishant Sharma! Even Bangladesh's reserve pacers are better than that.

Australia lose the test series. Cracking stuff from Lanka tbh after mostly getting whipped by other teams since their legends retired.
Steve Smith is one heck of a complaining peasant. Doesnt strike me as an Australian captain at all.

IF England can set a target of 350 then I think it might be enough. Root and Vince needs a partnership of 100 runs though.

Some really good stuff from Ali and Bairstow. Lead up to 290 now. 300-350 would be difficult to chase on the final day.

This is why Test matches should never be 4 days as they were suggesting it to be lol.
80% this is a draw but if Misbah is gone inside 10-15 runs then England can do a madness. Can't see anyone else forming a good partnership for Pakistan.

Nice stuff by Bairstow and Moeen. Wish England could have played like this in the 1st innings.
Pakistan needs 267 to win with 9 wickets. 4 hours or so to go. Intense but most likely will end in a draw

Pakistan 6 down now. Suddenly it looks like we're going to win
3 wickets for 1 run in 19 balls.
Woakes is having an incredible series.

EA haven't made a cricket game since 2008. There's International Cricket Captain on PC which is still going (hasn't changed in about 6 years though). There's now Don Bradman Cricket on the PS4 that's really good - another one's supposed to be coming out in December.

Thanks. Will check that upcoming one out. Was addicted to International cricket captain back in 2003 when i was a full cricket nerd. Loved signing oversee players for lancashire county ffs. Even signed Brian lara.
Think it's the Don Bradman Cricket 17 which is being released in december. Can't imagine it will be expensive considering low hype. Will pick it up in sale

Re: "The Gentleman's game"- Cricket - World Cup 2019 Special
Looks like it. Turned out to be a huge mistake batting first while conditions were overcast. Should have stuck them in, bowled them out cheap and then piled on the runs while the conditions were perfect for it.
2-2 draw in the series isn't a bad result. Pakistan are above us in the rankings, and we have one too many developing players at the moment.
ODIs and T20s will be great fun.

Was reading about some really talented kids playing in county cricket. I may not have seen a lot of cricket over the last year but I don't really see how Hales, Vince and ballance are the best england can offer. Surely its time to try others.
Fightback at Edgebaston proving to be big now at least.
Not a massive fan of T20 but looking forward to the ODIs.
