Because he went down. He may not be able to continue running but that doesnt mean you go down

I can tell how hard it was and ill tell ya what, that was not a soft tackle. He swung pretty hard. It woulda hurt - definetely. WHether he could have continued running that's debatable.
The whole point of my arguement however, was that Iniesta dived. That's all i'm saying
But I don't understand why Iniesta would dive in that situation when he could have stayed up and squared the ball to messi, who would have a open net to score.
Please answer that..

Oh wow. So if your leg got hit, no matter how hard, it's a dive if you go down? That's one hell of a definition of a dive. The Verminator wrote:Because he went down. He may not be able to continue running but that doesnt mean you go down

You may have spotted Messi free but did Iniesta? That's the question.

This is perfect proof of how video technology would solve absolutely nothing in football.
People are going to see what they want to see 10 times out of 10.

Actually it would solve diving. Just because fans aren't able to admit it, doesn't mean everybody wouldn't accept it in their head.Zealous wrote:This is perfect proof of how video technology would solve absolutely nothing in football.

It was towards the game right? He's trying everyhting he can to win the game, trying to dribble past players, adrenaline rushing to his head, you don't have to be blind to miss an open player in these circumstances

A dive is when you go down when there is no contact, or little contact, or contact that does not make you fall over.jiopsi wrote:Oh wow. You know it's also a foul even if you don't fall down right? The Verminator wrote:A dive is when you go down when there is no contact, or little contact, or contact that does not make you fall over.jiopsi wrote:Oh wow. Iniesta has great awereness and he can handle pressure very well, hence why he is almost always our best performers on the big matches. I have no doubt that he saw messi. He has some done similiar passes before.

Yea and the only reason it's not part of the debate is because Iniesta didn't stay up......

Re: Still not scandal in La Liga? part deux
He does have great awareness but so does Fabregas and i've seen him do something rather than squaring it to a free player before. This stuff happens man

Re: Still not scandal in La Liga? part deux
It may noot have been a foul even if he stayed up. But coz he dived it made it 100% no foul.

Re: Still not scandal in La Liga? part deux
Hold up bro. If you dive, which Iniesta did( the contact was not enough for him to go down) it's no foul, straight up.

I got a point man. If the contact isn't enough to take you down, but you do go down, it's no penalty

Re: Still not scandal in La Liga? part deux
Dude, its called selling it and every team is more than guilty of doing it at least once. Or does this never happen? It's just funny how Barcelona has a questionable PK today, in a match we didn't even win and the forum just loses it.The Verminator wrote:I got a point man. Re: Still not scandal in La Liga? part deux
JUst coz every team sells, it doesn't mean that selling becomes a normal part of the game that shouldn't go unpunished.
And the forum didnt lose it. Jiopsi created this thread ffs
