I meant if you guys wanna blame it on scandals. However, you should have had a penelty, so I guess there was a referee scandal included. (along with other bad decisions)

But Messi was very poor today compared to his usual standards. Should have done better.

Yeah he couldn't get involved in the game, but he wasn't the worst player on the pitch and he isn't the one to blame for this loss, the team is to blame, iniesta and sanchez were just as effective as Messi today imo.

But Iniesta and Sanchez doesn't affect the game as much as Messi does for Barca. In Barca Messi is the heart of the attack and most attacks go through him.

The fact is, had Messi been on his game today, you would have won this game by a huge margin. Messi creates enormous amount of space to teammates, and with the little he has, he is usually effective. When he isn't, Barca can't play.

Espanyols goal was all whoever headed it first, he gave the perfect touch on the ball to go past puyol onto alvaro.

Yes but in the 2nd half Espanyol was crossing more/more width instead of shooting the ball like headless chickens. Also, Sergio Garcia deserves alot of credit for his passes tonight. He was the one who sprayed the ball wide.
