Well, so far he played in the German U15 up to U19. We'll see if Löw can convince him to decide to play for the Germany seniors, too.

I honestly can't see any reason for him not to play for Germany, as competition should never determine such a decision in my eyes. I'll hope for a change of heart though. Razz

Personally I'm still hoping to steal him for Italy. He's Russian-German-Kazakh-Belorussian as it is, one more won't hurt. Razz We need to get him married to a nice Italian girl as soon as possible though, I'm sure Berlusconi has someone lined up :coffee:

Maybe Strasser should have held out for an Italian girl and played for Italy instead of Sierra Leone

Best way to circumvent ItalJuve: buy the best foreign talent. Marry them to members of Berlusconi's political party. Not only manufacture Italians but also hold government.

Merkel now has a blog on a popular German site where he writes about life in Italy, Genoa, Milan (and Klose):

Thanks for posting the blog Serge, it will be an interesting way to monitor his thoughts rather than through a few short, random comments made on Twitter. Hopefully he doesn't descend into inane drivel.

I kinda question how much of it he writes himself though. He's thought to be rather stupid and that text is quite eloquent. Very Happy
I guess he shares a few ideas and thoughts with a spox writer and the writer then posts the blog entry.

Not speaking German and just working off translation software, I'll take your word that it's eloquent. Razz

He does claim to speak excellent Italian, perhaps his one talent outside of football is for language. A ghost writer is probably used though as you said.

El Shaarawy was like in few games this season, he was in Serie B before. He is unlucky with all this competition, I d loan him say to Arsenal.

Merkel is CM, lets see, he gets starts at Genoa, and assists. Can be a 22 squad player in Milan in winter/summer
