Re: Puyol doesn't like losing
Actually it is 37 games in official competitions. 5 last La Liga games from 09-10 season, then undefeated in all 27 appearances for Barca in 2010-11 season then undefeated in this season 5 appeareances. We'll see how long Puyol streak will long

I updated the same table on my computer, and also have 27 appearances for Puyol. I can give you that 27 appearances, 10-11: 5 Group stage CL, 3 knockout stage CL, 2 Copa del Rey, 17 La Liga - Transfermarkt failed to give him appearance in 11 Round of La Liga, game vs Villarreal, he started there, that's why you have 26 appearances and not 27 in 10-11 if you have a stats from Transfermarkt. He has for sure 27 appearances in all competitions in 2010-11.

Between 21.10.2003-24.10.2004
37 games
2734 minutes
369 days
So Puyol has beaten that record already.

They only went undefeated in the league. They lost in the FA Cup, League Cup and UCL. So it wasn't 48 games back to back.

Re: Puyol doesn't like losing
Between 1.10.03 - 13.5.05
Gilberto Silva 42 leauge games unbeaten.
.....................6 FA cup game unbeaten
.....................5 CL games unbeaten.
..................=53 games unbeaten.
loss on 13.5.05 was to Birmingham.
Missed every loss in 04-05 other than the one to Birmingham through a back injury.

Gilberto Silva 21.10.2003-15.5.2005
43 games
3276 minutes
572 days
Compared
Puyol
37 matches
2968 minutes
550 days
So Puyol has couple months to go to beat that record.
