A ridiculous proposition
If you could have any 3 players from your club's biggest rival, who would they be? You can motivate your answer if you like.
I will go first:
1) Lionel Messi, pretty obvious, no explanation necessary
2) Iniesta, the best all-round technique in the world... Jizz in my pants....
3) Thiago Alcantara- Looking to the future, this lad is something special.
Now I know for some of you it will be hard to admit that you like your rival's players, but if we drop our guards for just a second and think rationally, this could be quite fun!
INB4 Mole comments about "Gyan, but oh wait he's not there anymore!"
Re: A ridiculous proposition
Iniesta: Because you can go wrong with picking the pale kid. He also is a damn awesome footballer. Would toss Di Maria in the ocean in a heartbeat for him (n.b only my opinion and not the opinion of others)
Pique: A classy centre back that I really admire. Nothing much to add
Pinto: I need a guy who would punch damn Busquets in his stupid face and take a red card for the team without actually affecting the team. Pinto is that man...

lol on Pinto! For me Pique just missed out, if there were 4 options he would have made my list.
Re: A ridiculous proposition
I would take Cristiano, but first he needs brain surgery.
I would take Pepe, but again, he needs brain surgery.
Two great players, with mental problems.
And third one... hmmm... Ramos woud be good for bench

Re: A ridiculous proposition
Iker…. Lengendary keeper although I don’t have any problems with Victor
Xabi….. Although I like Busquets as a player I hate his guts with all this face touching
Ozil….. Best thing out there after Xaviesta and Sneijder

I wouldn't take anybody from Sunderland. Not just because I hate them but because I think he have better players in every position.

I seriously cant think of anyone either lol.......
Larsson would probably get into our side atm, but when Ben Arfa and Marveaux get match fit he would enjoy the bench week in week out......

I looked at their squad again and I agree, it is average.....
You wouldn't maybe have a use for Seb Larsson?

Re: A ridiculous proposition
Giovanni? Prandelli?
What is the connection? Do you support Italia? Or just admire Cesare?

I'm a very complex football fan... South African who supports a Spanish club team BUT internationally FORZA AZZURRI all the way! don't judge me.. I have a confused identity
Excellent topic!
Barcelona fan.
First of all, I'd take two: Pepe or Sergio Ramos, probably the latter. And Albiol or Arbeloa. Barcelona needs quality centre-backs and defenders, and Ramos is more than capable at being a centre-back and playing Barcelona-style football. As for the two A's, probably Albiol, who I think is quicker. Madrid has a wealth of options at defense, and, on second thought, having a Pepe-type destroyer in the back to limit the loss of our Pepe-like destroyer (Puyol) wouldn't be terrible.
So, that's 2/3.
This is where it gets hard. If you pick Ronaldo (the obvious choice) then you're basically putting him up top or on the left, which means moving Messi or Villa. For me, it's a toss-up between Ronaldo and di Maria, who can operate effectively on the left and is probably the better one-touch player of the two. Not to mention, di Maria has chemistry with Messi. The selfish person in me probably picks Ronaldo with the assumption he'll score occasional goals out of nothing; however, I'll be cheeky for the moment and pick di Maria.

Re: A ridiculous proposition
Pinto:
Reading Docs post I changed my mind, I want someone similair to Pinto to beat the shit out of them the next time a Barca player dives
Messi:
Delight to watch, got the wowfactor and is the best in the world.
Iniesta:
Di Maria out and Iniesta to the wing, plays like Zizou IMO and is also a delight to watch. Also has a nice partnership with Messi sometimes

Re: A ridiculous proposition
Traditional Bayern rivals are Munich 1860 and maybe Nuremberg although all the other clubs in Germany hate us, so...
I'll take Hoewedes, Hummels and Cisse.
I'm not taking any scum Spurs' players.
