Cheers man
Look up 'Bad Company 2: How Not To Be A Noob'
it's not Battlefield 3 but the stuff the guy talks about will be very relevant and helpful to you

Actually I can just link the video
Technically, its outdated but most of the the stuff Mark talks about will translate over to BF3
But my no.1 tip for BF3
SPOT!!!
You have no idea how much of an advantage your team gets over your enemy once you spot a whole pack of them. You immediately get the upper hand and the ability to spot is hands down your most dangerous weapon in the game.

First he talks about the realism in Battlefield 2, then he talks about the fact that you can't go prone like in MW2 - "It's not realistic, but it's a videogame and it's supposed to be fun"

Battlefield 3 is what i expected, same old game with new maps and the funny thing is that they tried to copy the MW2 battle system lol

AHAHAHAHAHA Battlefield is the same old game? Every COD is identical to each other...
Battlefield brought team death-match over to their game because its what the people wanted, they didn't copy anything from COD

Are you saying that Battlefield was the first game to implement Team Deathmatch as a game mode? BF3 is starting to look more similar to what you would expect from a CoD game. BF players pride themselves on playing a game that's more realisitic than most other FPS games, yet from the looks of it, the developers have realized that too much realism is not what the consumers want, so they shrinked their maps in an attempt to up the pace of the game. Feel free to make a comparison between BF 2 and 3; you'll see that BF3 really is starting to look more like its significantly more popular counterpart :lol!:

yeah, shrinking maps is why they now allow 64 players, caspian border is the biggest battlefield map ever and they're releasing a bunch of bf2 maps in the new engine as content in the limited edition

I played 2 different maps on BF3 the other day, and they were both significantly smaller than the ones in BF2, so I assumed that all the maps were like that. By the way, aren't you the one who said that both CoD and BF suck? You seem to know an awful lot about these games, for a hater

BF3 is limited by console hardware. That's why maps are so small or you can't cram 64 players into them.
On PC it will be much better

I assume that the Che is a PC gamer, then.. because the maps I played on xbox felt relatively small for a BF game. And about that video he posted, comparing the visual and graphics in MW2/3; The same can be said about BF 2/3. Minor visual improvements on the console versions, something I care very little about. Infinity Ward has teamed up with Sledgehammer games in developing MW3, though.. and I think there will be plenty of new features in it.

From i have seen of it.......
MW3 seems like a fixed MW2 ( no commando, danger close, one man army) with a revamped killstreak system....
as far as new features go i dont see much tbh, the only new thing is the killstreak system which is intriguing tbh.
Doubt ill buy it but it will be interesting to see how it plays anyway with the new killstreak system.

Re: Modern Warfare 3
I was reading comments under MW3 videos about the new specialist strike package where, if you get an 8 kill streak, you get all the perks. And people are saying this will make the game unbalanced. But not everyone will get an 8 kill streak
Of course there will be issues of being unbalanced and unfair but MW3 will be an improvement on previous CoD games

Some people who went to CoD XP and played the Beta, claim that the Juggernaut killstreak is unbalanced. I've never heard about a killstreak that grants all perks, but it sounds lame

Re: Modern Warfare 3
Basically Thimmy theres 3 sets of packages......
1- assault- basically your usually ac130-pavelow stuff - ( if your a killstreak wh0re )
2- Support- basically these are things which wont for the most part get you kills it will be stuff like uav, counter uav etc etc
3. Specialist- instead of killstreaks you get extra perks - after 2 kills you get 1 extra perk , 4-2 extra perks,6-3 extra perks, 8-extra perks(you wont get this until level 80 tho so if you decide to prestige you only get it for one level lol).....
Basically the trade off is you get no killstreaks, you basically are the killstreak
I know all this because my mates are huge Cod fanatics and they tell me lets of things

When you have great games like Skyrim, Dark Souls, Arkham City, Uncharted 3, Zelda, Kirby, and tons of SNES games; I really struggle to understand why anyone would waste his/her time in such a repetitive game.

Tbh i agree Spencer i myself wont be getting it.......
But i did get addicted to COD4 back in the day so i understand why people buy it over and over again it can be very addictive......
I might just buy a PS3 for Uncharted 3 tbh

Can't you rent a PS3 or borrow one from a friend, much cost effective if you are just going to buy it for one game.
I would totally let you borrow it if we existed in the same realm bro.

firstly, because i play on a pc hence the only relevant games for me are skyrim and arkham city
secondly, because i need shooters to let off steam... i love good single player games, but they're simply not as much long term fun
