Now in recent reports it was reported that DC went to Spain last week & went to Valencia & also Real. .

now we all knew what Valencia was all about but still confuses me is what & who was Real for . .

& Gago goes & kills himself in the media! ! would we be bidding for him . .another CM!

now first of all i do not think we pay Gerrard peanuts! ! now if you think we have to pay STUPID amount for players like ManCity & Chelsea then its different. .

secondly Torres is being salaries which amounts to him being the THIRD highest paid player in the world . .guess after whom?? Ronaldo & Messi. .so money PLAYS a BIG PART! . . another thing is he knew the team was on the upscale . . still he decided to leave, anyhow no hard feelings

If money was the only motivation he would have left in the last summer window or even before itself.Its not like this is the first time Chelsea or Man City were after him.He wanted to compete for League and CL which we arent at the moment but Chelsea provided him that.

According to Marca it was for Pedro Leon.We bid 10mil for him but apparently he turned as down because he wants to stay and fight for his place at Madrid.

Fairly certain I made a point of noting that Torres's motivation was NOT solely based on money.

Talk is cheap. Torres said he'd see out his contract less than a month before handing in a transfer request (but hey, I'm sure he meant it and we dropped significantly away from Euro footy in that time to change his mind, right?).

No point worrying about it.He is fairly certain to be a Liverpool player soon.Rather dream about how we finally have quality free kick taker rather than Gerrard.
