The Guardian is usually one of the more reliable sources on Liverpool deals. That's not to say it's right even 50% of the time though... just a bit more than the 5% or so that most news sources manage.

well he hasn't been very far from the players we have always been linked with & some of his statements have come true . .but then again can be wild rumors also . .but in general the guy isn't much wrong. . apart from the Adam saga which has dragged forever i suppose

man, A.Villa are in a mess, they have just made a horrible disappointment that screams lack of ambition. I wouldn't be surprised to see Stu hand in a transfer request...if we can get both Mata and Downing for around 35M, we've done excellently and finally sorted out the wings

lets just hope that something is being done to capture Downing . .but thing is many reports suggested that a deal would be done within last week but nothing has materialized. .& now im of the feeling that 35m won't be enough . .cause i guess AVFC rejected a bid of ours for 15m & for Mata the initial bid was of 15m both will rise up . . i sort of have a feeling for Mata it would go up to 20-22m n for Downing arnd 17-18m. . n Adam would take up full 10m . . now that takes our spending to 63-66m pounds! ! without a LB, CB & a backup striker! ! i remember some1 saying King would be given a 100m pound transfer budget! i guess that wasn't too wrong! !

well Art as we can all understand for the engine to restart some risks have to be taken & this would be one that comes in for sure . . but for me the bigger problem is not that but whether or not the players get enough time to gel in together b4 the next season, as i would very much like to see a side which would start of gr8 from the beginning
