I believe this is from IFFHS... And I think this was done in early 2010/2009, not sure.

I think it's quite fair, but Kahn should be in 2nd IMO.

You're right actually.I read this a long time back on Goal.com.

I feel Seaman is incredibly low on this list, also Peruzzi is a bit underrated aswell.

Honestly i dont think Van Der sar was as good as Peter Schmeichel let alone better than him either.I suppose United fans could judge that better.

Either way he wasnt better than Kahn thats for sure.

Schmeichel is probably the best goalkeeper i have seen consistently along with Buffon i have no qualms with Buffon being top but for Schmeichel to be outside the top 3 is unacceptable imho.

When I saw vldes in that list I immediately stopped tking the list seriously...VDS hs been the best GK in the last decade, holds the Europen record for most consecutive clen sheets...

I think I've seen this before . They gave them points for being in the top 20 goal-keepers , each year over the past 25 years . So it's natural the overall list would look a bit odd , it doesn't indicate who is the best keeper . Rather who was in the top lists year after year . And of course , that doesn't help the guys who retired during the period.

Dudek was a great goalkeeper!! Our national team sucks but we always have great goalkeepers!!

what a disgrace, put the stats and accomplishments from kahn and buffon beside each other...

Casillas helped his national team win the World Cup by making wonderful saves to deny Robben, saved them in the penelty against Ghana.

Kahn screws up and hands Brazil the victory in the World Cup.

And people want Kahn as #2 over Casillas? ffs...

Casillas is 2 and rightfully so.
