Michel Vorm possibly? I wouldn't say he was the most underrated by a long shot but he generally doesn't get much recognition but has played very well every time I've seen him

ter Stegen? When people talk about BMG they rarely mention this guy.
His rise from the reserve team to the first team and Mönchengladbach's rise from relegation zone to eventual Champions League spots in no coincidence.
Of course it may be down to a certain guy named Marco Reus. hmm
