Playing online with Sao Paulo, my new FIFA team. Undefeated, they are goats.

Play 4-3-3, possession, and quick attacks. Use Lucas' skills and dribbling... Lucas :bow:

How important do you think is makings formations is for FIFA12?

My friends mock me for making changes for every game (for different opponents) so that I can adjust my play.

IMO it can make a significant difference. Your playing ability can only take you so far.

Huge difference, because playing ability is based on the way you play, and some formations don't let you play your own style. Personally, I play way worse if I'm not using 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 or something like that.

I'm a huge fan of the 4-3-3 but the 4-1-2-1-2 in the default Chelsea formation was much more effective than the former. I learned it the hard way. We have an annual gaming fest over here and one of the matches I lost was to Bayern Munich. Using 4-3-3 I was easily giving up possession and could rarely make an attacking move

They're pretty important. For me i play 4-3-3

Now, formations are very important at times. I played against some guy who played as City. He had 4-4-2, i had 4-3-3. I play possession too might i add. So i literally won the game through my formation. I passed it around his two ma midfield, gave the ball to RVP, played the ball to Wilshere who was making the run. Wilshere took a shot just outside the box and goal. It does have an effect trust me.

Another important thing is getting used to a formation. The only reason i can pass accurately as quickly as i do manually, is because i know where my players are. Even the ones i can't see (wingers), i still know where they are. It's really important to know where everyone is, and where everyone will be when you attack.

Your friends are either very good at this game or know absolutely nothing about it.

Formations is half the battle. We all have our own playing styles and we all have our own preferred formations.

im done playing this game online i dont see how its possible i can get 3 penalties called against in one game all from having people run into me doing nothing...i hope i hold up to this and eventually stop playing overall as im getting thoughts of launching my Xbox off the roof of my apartment complex.

I hate it when my connection screws me over a promotion. I was in division 3 and my internet kept disconnecting to send me back to division 4. Then in division 4 i had 1 loss 2 wins and 3 draws. So i got 4 games left to get 7 points. Not too hard. I play a game against Spain, i was leading 3-0 at half time, then my internet disconnects. I play again against RM, i score a goal, and i'm lookin good against this guy who wasn't really threatening. Bam. Internet disconnects again. Now i'm left with 2 games to get 1 point to stay in division 4. Probably my internet will disconnect again so i gotta make sure i get a point or i might end up in division 5....

LOL.. I've wanted to break this game like 100 times already.. Put it up for trade for PES 2012 months ago but no luck so I just kept it.. If BS keeps happening I might just sell it then buy PES 2012

I don't know if it will be but if I were a betting man I'd bet there is not as much bullshit as his game.. I'm a FIFA fan, I just hate FIFA 12 lol..

I agree its realistic as in all these moron referees in real life probably play it and replicate the horrible calls that are made game by game in real matches.

I mean, you know what tbf, you gotta ask yourselves if you were EA, how do you prevent BS goals from happening? I mean it's not like all goals are scripted or anything, some of them are just pure BS. What can you do?

All FIFA games have some bs but this one takes the cake for me that's why I'm pissed.. Games should get better every year, it's been like that for the past few years.. Why stop this year?

I honestly rate fifa 12 better than any other fifa. The physics, the improved dribbling, stats have more meaning now. The gameplay of fifa 12 is the best i've come across. But i can't for the life of me understand how so many BS goals go against us. And this is the fundemental problem in this years Fifa...

I have still not managed to beat a similar team in legendary mode. The computer makes no mistakes.

I was playing against the computer today trying my best to get as many red cards as possible, but the computer manages to evade my sliding tackles 90% of the time. The most reds I've managed in a single game are two. lol.
