When you look at actual performances (and stats, btw) and not just reputation, all current German strikers shit all over Klinsmann. Podolski and Klose both have goal-to-cap-ratios Klinsmann could only dream of, in fact they're both also doing better than Rudi effing Völler (though he might've suffered from Germanys defensive approach in the 90s).

Van Nistelrooy was the poacher though. But he's spent.

Godmez is where it's at these days. Though he isn't the most complete, I actually agree that it might be Ibrahimovic, though you could also make a point for Klose who makes smarter runs, but Ibra just got finer technique. And I don't like Ibra.
