The Simpsons

For me, it has been going downhill since 2000, and nowadays, I barely raise a smirk, let alone a laugh, when I watch a latest episode.

I think it's time they pulled the plug on it. It will always be one of the greatest shows ever and will always be a part of many people's childhood, but now, it's overrun it's course imo.

If you check out the series from the years 1991 to 1998, it was some of the best comedy I've ever seen. Great writing.

They're actually talking about it possibly getting cancelled.

I never was a big fan, but there were a few episodes here and there that were great.

They get 8mill per episode just for doing voice overs. That is the best job ever. Wow..

I'm not surprised they are financially struggling paying those kinda wages.

But looking up Simpsons clips on youtube is hilarious

Well, it's 8m/year but if I were them I would accept the 45% reduction(easy for me to say I know). 4.5 for a show that should've ended a few years ago? Take it.

I still watch and love the Simpsons! It's still well written they just don't go all out like show's nowadays... It's not at it's best but it's never dropped to being a crappy show. It's a good watch, not ground breaking anymore but not everything has to be...

ps. if you what a show that's gone downhill it has to be south Park... It's my all time favourite TV show but man has it sucked these last few seasons. The occasional good episode but really they just seem to have lost the will to make a great show...

Best comedy of all time. Shamirr nailed it, from simpsons to sp. The Simpsons isnt AS funny, but it is still freaking hilarious.... people just cant enjoy it because the bar was set super high by themselves.

99% of the time when im watching TV im either watching sports or the simpsons, and for me its still as funny as it ever was

I like the simpsons, People just want to watch fart jokes on family guy. The thing is the staff of the simpsons are all in their 50s now, They don't really know how the young generation thinks. They need younger writers and to kill off lisa.
I also think at some point the Simpson's was trying to copy family guys stupid humor. I think The simpsons shhould stick to their style.

I don't tune in every Sunday like I used to but if I happen to be watching TV and I pass by a new episode I'll definitely watch it... Unless a new episode of Family Guy is on though

I never really laughed to start off with, but now I don't even watch it anymore.

I don't think it's as bad as people make it out to be ... But the wages they pay for crap voice overs is ridiculous.

i feel the same. the quality have dropped significantly over the past 6-7 or 8 years. used to love watching simpsons. maybe we don't find good, because we have grown up from it?

One of the best TV shows IMO, I love the show and watch it when ever I can.

The show that has been shit lately is the Family guy, American Dad is killing the Family guy.
