Barzagli: Juve not favourites

Andrea Barzagli has cooled the enthusiasm around Juventus after their win over Milan. “It’s too soon to be Scudetto favourites.”

Juventus and Udinese currently find themselves at the top of the standings after the Old Lady beat the Rossoneri 2-0 on Sunday.

“The win against Milan was important, but I continue to maintain that Milan and Inter, alongside Napoli and Roma, will be protagonists this season,” he stated.

“We are also there, but we’ll have to fight for it,” added the defender who has been recalled to the Italy squad.

“We’re doing well, but we are still under construction and it is far too soon to say that we are favourites for the title.”

Juventus finished the last two campaigns in seventh place, but they have started life under new boss Antonio Conte in fine fashion.

“Conte has great charisma,” added the 2006 World Cup winner. “He’s transmitting his mentality to us and his Juventus spirit.”

Everyone is saying that, and at this point... nobody are favorites... Serie A is just to unpredictable now and competitive. Anyways you cant assume us being favorite after 5 games lol... four of them being against mid and low class clubs. And against a Milan who had injuries...

Milan are favourites
Then Napoli if they stay healthy
Next is a whole mess of teams, Juventus being one of them

Milan are not favs in my eyes until they revamp the mid field. But that can't happen until January.

MANCINI always said we are not favorite; to take of the pressure

WENGER asked him: how can you say that??? considering how much money you spent?

JUVENTUS have spent the biggest money on summer and brought; PIRLO, VUCINIC, LINSHTAINER, ELIJAH = 4 new champions

so in my opinion on paper the favorits are

AC MILAN > JUVENTUS > INTER > NAPOLI > UDINESE

You do realize on Paper... Inter have a better squad?

Anywyas... most players bought were not top players I'd like to add.
