Yeah and the same things happens for Inter all the time but when Ibra yells at the ref under his breath he gets a straight red and 3 game ban. And what of Krasic's ban for diving? Did Lucio get two games for his ban?

Milan and Juve punished while Inter does the same thing... Morattopoli smoking

YOu mean when Ibra said loud and clear to the ref to go to his mothers cun*? And then got banned for that? Or when he got banned for 2 games when he punched a guy with his fist in the stomach but Etoo got 3 game ban for hiting someone?

Krasic got banned for diving for a penalty, so did Adriano at Inter, Lucio "dived" at centre of the field, and thats the same thing as diving like a little bitch with no contact for a penalty?

Brigate you really lost ur "touch" with this shit, i guess that happens when you get ur 5th acc.

You can't blame the official for that though...He's got to follow the ball and he does - its the linesman's fault (as usual)

Honestly wtf good are they? Its bad enough that offside calls are consistently wrong, but whenever something goes wrong on the pitch or there is some controversy, even if its right in front of them, they stand there like the f*cking Queen's Guard at Buckingham Palace Rolling Eyes

Referees are human. Put yourself in their place, following every move of a player in high speed isn't easy at all. You people whine too much. Technology is the answer but Fifa/Uefa are too currupt for meaningful changes.

My friend post this on another forum:

"It was a chop job by Rocchi. The head of the referees in Italy gave him a talking to after the game and the guy will not be involved in another Inter game. He may even be taken off as a Serie A referee.

In essence the "Designator" (head of refs) states that Rocchi won't ref Inter again and admits that Rocchi was terrible:

"L'arbitro fiorentino Gianluca Rocchi-commerciante, uscito indenne dal processo di Calciopoli a Napoli-non arbitrerà più l'Inter. Almeno per questa stagione. I vertici arbitrali ci sono rimasti male dopo la (pessima) direzione di gara a San Siro. A vedere la sfida fra Inter e Napoli c'era anche il designatore Stefano Braschi. Well, when you mention the Women's World Cup that had quite some atrocious refereeing, you can also look to the WC2010, where some ref decisions really messed up things.

The stuff I remember best (or rather worst) were the game Germany vs Serbia where the ref seems to have believed himself in a card game and pulled out cards on the slightest whim and the match Germany vs England with the Lampard "non-goal". As someone above mentioned - using modern technology to avoid at least stuff like phantom goals or non-goals should be the way to go.
