Will Tevez still play for City?
Re: Tevez Refuses to Come on as a sub Against Bayern
TBH we don't know the story.
Maybe Tevez said the truth, and he really felt that coming on wouldn't help his team. Still, if Mancini insisted he should've told him "okay, I'm going to suck, and I'm sorry for that, but I'll try my best", instead of flat-out refusing.
Makes you feel a bit agitated when you've just put in 60 hours of work last week and made less than Tevez makes in two hours. ^^

What comes to Tevez's claims that he did not refuse to play and it was some sort of misunderstanding, I think he - or his agent at least - has realized what a huge mistake he made and now tries to fix the situation. Hopefully in vain.

City should sell Tevez in January.
His attitude at the minute is not good.

I wonder what sort of offers City will get for Tevez in January, especially if he hasn't played for City at all from here to January. City's bargaining power will be really low as they would have a player in their hands that will not be playing for them.

screw contract termination, i'd stick him in the reserves and have a word with the coach to not play him there either
surely city can afford lawyers who will justify that as a disciplinary measure

If he refused to play or he went in and bagged 8 goals the outcome would be the same.
All this does is rub more people and teams the wrong way. City did not want too much money, that also is a lie. They valued him around 50 mill and they were going to take 40 mil from the Brazilian team. They were exploring all options and willing to work with people but no one wanted him because he has shown that he can't stay at a team for more then 2 years no matter how good the situation is so it's a bad investment. This doesn't mean City just gives him away, they keep him and keep looking for the best deal possible.
And again you are just making stuff up. How do you know if they loaned him out they would get a fair price next season thats just pure fantasy. All the teams already tried to drive the price down hence he's still there so it's not like this makes any difference it's just an a**hole being an a**hole.
And NOW he's an antagonist, have you been living on another planet for the last 4 month's??? He's been a terrible employee and has done nothing posititve for City since the end of last season. He's slammed the city, fans, and the club. You really need to either learned what happened in this situation or stop making stuff up.
I didn't deny that they tried to sell him , nor did I deny that the offers they received were low , I simply said that they made a mistake by not selling him.
Why , cuz last season he was at peak value. Why was he at peak value ? , because he played and scored regularly.Hence the loan suggestion , if they loaned him to a place where he would get regualar playing time and keep scoring then he would maintain that value. However sitting on the bench at City only drives down his value. If they were expecting to get a better deal next summer than this summer after leaving him on the bench for a year then clearly they are idiots. I don't KNOW this , but it seems a reasonable suggestion , and you have the right to disagree with it regardless.
Finally , he's been a terrible employee , yes always an antagonist. With that statement all you did was strengthen my point about them being stupid not to sell/loan him.Now they have to hope that he dosent single handedly tear the dressing room apart piece by piece.
But no you're right, them keeping him for a year to get worse offers next year and watch him create havoc in the dressing room was the best move they could make.
And Tevez comes out and tries to deny he did it because he realizes what a stupid move it was. That kinda kills your dumb argument, huh?

Sell him to a Brazilian club if one can afford him, so we don't have to see his whiny ass again. Corinthians, I am looking at you

Why are so much people on his back?
He wanted to leave, but Mancini didn't let him.
Why should Tevez listen to him?

Not entirely true. He wouldn't have been on the bench.
And we're not in the CL. :O
But honestly. This has no respect is over doing it. You don't buy respect ffs. Tevez is turning out to be a victim for Mancini being an arrogant #######

Your sig scares me.
And he also saved Mancini's career at City getting him CL for this year. He was told he was going to get sold in the summer, and is still at the club today.
This Tevez/Mancini saga has gone for a while. They havn't got along in a while. And that's on the pitch. Who know's what goes on behind it.
Anyway, I'm not saying Tevez was in the right, but the Mancini blaming everything on Tevez is unjust.

I really don't understand why people are saying this. Mancini or City never stopped Tevez from leaving. They even bought a replacement so he could leave. The problem is that no one want's to pay for him. The brazilian team never really had the money and city were even giving them a 10 mill break on what they valued him at. Also City are paying him great wages and other teams want him to take a pay cut which he doesn't want to do.
Other teams wanted him for 20 mill which is 30 mill off his real value and his contract is nowhere close to ending. OR they wanted City to loan him which is insane you don't loan a player of his caliber, if a top team wants him they have to buy him and city were even willing to take under market value but they were not going to just give him away,
People act like since City has a lot of money they should act like a charity or something. They put a valuation on there player which was fair in the market and teams offered them peanuts for one of the best forwards in the EPL. Now it's city and Mancicni's fault.
I don't know where you people get this stuff.

it's like that, you go to work and you don't like it! You can quit and terminate contract! I'm sure Tevez would loved to do that, but if he is not allowed to, he can rebel! What's wrong with it, let him have it! Cut his salary! FIRE him. No need to bash Tevez

Scholes refused to play in League Cup in 2001, stayed at United for another decade...How much do wages affect perception?
