Carlos Tevez to be fined six weeks' wages by Manchester City for failing to warm up against Bayern Munich - report
Tevez's fine would amount to over £1 million but represents a sharp turn in City's standing on the matter.
It has been claimed by The Guardian that Tevez will be reprimanded for failing to warm up rather than refusing to play in the game.
It is said that Tevez did not believe he needed to warm up for a third time and wanted to be brought on sooner, but when the striker eventually prepared to be introduced to the action, manager Roberto Mancini told him to sit down.
The City boss claimed after the game that Tevez had refused to come on and that he would not consider the Argentine for selection ever again.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror has reported that both Brian Kidd and David Platt believe Tevez was confused over whether to warm up or not after a mix-up in communication with the manager.
Goal.com revealed that Tevez's version of events was widely supported by his team-mates and it seems that this opinion has also been provided to the club by the players.
Even if Tevez is found guilty of a lesser misdemeanour, his departure from the club still looks likely, with several clubs looking to strike a cut-price deal in the January transfer window.

poor tevez, now he'll only get 550 times the average salary instead of 570 for running around chasing a ball
can't blame him for being depressed tbh...
