I'm guessing you saw Balotelli's debut scoring in a matter of a few minutes, a fantastic strike 20 yards out :coffee:

Pirlo on his own in midfield wasn't good also about Elia, I don't understand why u would start him away to Catania and not home to bologna, in Sicily it's not easy to play

this is the pt. I have been calling and some posters never got it, home games vs Parma and Bologna were the perfect opportunities to let Elia and Esti get a feel of how it was as there is less pressure on them but not an away game after being benched for God knows how long for Pepe and Giach to disco-dance for 90 mins.... :coffee:

well said, my pt. we need a clinical finisher, Matri is not WC but when I say it Tony doesn't get my pt. well we saw it today.... as it seems Tevez doesn't seem too happy at City, we can work somethn out to get him for our SS role, and probably ship Vucinic out next summer.......

Why not to both?
I would love him and Juventus and I hope he stays with the national team he is pure talent.

He also provided an assist for City nearly, if Silva would have held his run a little longer

Alright... Juventus... I would understand... but for Italy...?

Woh, Woh, Woh! You don't want Mario playing for the national team? Don't get offended, but ARE YOU NUTS?!??!?!?!?!?

Balotelli is the best U20 player for Italy in this past decade. Yes over Cassano, someone who scored more than 20 goals in a first division league. One of today's BEST prospects. One of Italy's more promised strikers, some already claiming compariosons to Baggio, and you don't want him for Italy????????? Did you see him when he came on the pitch for Spain, in not only 10 minuts almost scored on his debut, made Busquets his B****! Against Slovenia, everyone went nuts when Balotelli held the ball, the man is a monster! He managed to deke three players at once! With Man City, on his debut, and a goal! All the hype going into him! He's the real deal in Italy, and he's all we got at the moment!

Now if your going to say for his trouble making... That was the past and he's young. Cassano has done far worst. We should be proud he threw that Inter shirt to ground, we should be proud of what he done. The man has changed, what happened to the Mario who didn't celebrate when he scored? He went all the way to Mancini and gave him a hug. What happened to the Mario who we said wounldn't do anything good? Decided to go and volunteer his time with Buffon and Prandelli.

His reception

Mancini explains Balotelli's character

There's a reason for Balotelli's character, the man went through so much in his life. This will explain it.

Besides all of that! HE LOVES ITALY! ITS HOME FOR HIM! The guy is homesick! He misses his friends and family, he misses the culture, He hates being in the UK.

Balotelli says: "I dont like living in the city of Manchester"

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3748025/Why-Mario-Balotelli-hates-life-in-Manchester.html

To top it all off !

Vidal,in the positon that he was playing,is USELESS.

Krasic was good in 2nd half, but he should not be that selfish, specially after that great run he was not in a good way to shoot,& I think Pepe & Alex were so close to him in front of goal.

Pepe was also good,& he had a great shot from outside the box,I'd like to see more shots, from him,& others..Plus he made some really decent runs today.

Awfull formation by Conte,it shoud've been any pair of Alex Matri Quaglia

Elia shows some potential but still definitly needs time, the main question is should he starts vs Milan?I guess no.

I'm guessing Elia shouldn't start but maybe be used as an impact sub, playing 30-35 minutes.

Assuming Krasic starts on the right and Pepe on the left, either one of those could be direct subs for Elia.
If Elia replaced Krasic, Pepe would take the right side.
If Elia replaced Pepe, its a straight swap.

I'm curious to see if Conte will play a two man midfield against Milan and if those two men will be Pirlo-Marchisio.

Matri as lone striker- nowhere near him with a suitable partner to feed off of.

Shocked Shocked Shocked

Balotelli is the best Italian player and you don't want him on the national team???

People are comparing him to Baggio and you don't want him on the national team???

I would give my left nut and maybe my right one too just to get him to come to Juventus, and you don't want him on the national team???

Lol that's a nice little essay there Tony +1. Thought u touched on many points although my opinion wont change. Never would I want to see Balo In a juve jersey. In an Italy one? Yes. To a degree. Mark my words and this is my opinion , mario will never do well for Italy. By the end of his career he won't have contributed much to la nazionale

That's my opinion anyway

ok about Mario Balotelli.i watched him alot of times in the past and yes he was an amazing talent a player that comes 1 in 10 years or something for a nation.

the problem started when i was watching Italy under 21 and i saw some things that made me dont like him.he was thinking he is the best player or he can beat a team alone.at that team also Giovinco was playing i saw Balotelli get the ball from Giovinco.i saw Balotelli to kick the ball himself when Giovinco was ready for a free kick etc.

anyway all this made me not to like him.he is a great player for sure and he can be a top class player but just this is not enough for me.
i want him to play for the team and not for himself then i will like to watch him with Italy.

about Juve i dont think he will ever come here.he already said he is a Milan fan right?

Balotelli is overrated. He obviously is talented, but he doesnt have the mentality or personality... yet.

On Balo,

What everyone should say when they don't think Balo is going to perform with the NT is.

I think he will not do well, but I hope I am proven wrong.

Just a thought.

He's anything but overrated. He clearly has issues with the mental side of his game, but he is in no way overrated.

Well I consider mentality and personality when I consider how I rate players, and I think there are a lot of people who do not consider this when talking about Balotelli; that's why I say he is overrated by some.
