Re: Sergio Asenjo?
Back at Atletico, Injuries destroyed him. He got injured right after he moved to Malaga so he didnt play there, and went back to madrid.

I thought Guaita was the next big thing for Spain at GK.

he deserves it but it's never gonna happen... the next spanish number one is around 17-18 atm because casillas will start until he retires... doesn't matter if spain had captain america with eight arms, michael jordan's leap and mindreading abilities available for goalkeeper, "san iker" would still start because he's the golden boy

Pacheco?
I think De gea has a shot, he will be in his prime by the time Casillas is done.

Re: Sergio Asenjo?
Oh come on. Lets say Casillas retirest by the age of 36, a very reasonable age for someone who is still the best in the business. De Gea would be 26, for a GK that is still very young. Stop moping about Iker, dont act like he doesnt deserve his spot.

Re: Sergio Asenjo?
Che, come on... Casillas is easilly no1 in Spain, if not the world. He deseves his spot, and at the same time, he's a great leader. I do hope Assenjo does start to play like he used to though...
