I was wondering that too
I'd say its a toss up between Hulk, Thiago Silva and Dani Alves

Its between Hulk,Hernanes,Lucio and Silva.Leiva is catching up,the best DM in the EPL last season and atm.

the best in the world are in the Brasileirao though,at least from the attacking players

Gonna have to say Alves for consistency and pure frakking balls.

Lucio a close second. Sorry, but Brazilian attacking players aren't up to their usual standard since Godnaldinho

Hulk's great, though.

Dani Alves for me.

This isnt best Brazil player for his NT who plays in Europe, this is simply best Brazilian and that is Alves for me.

Thiago Silva and Hulk a shade below him.

I like the kid a heck of alot, but im not willing to say that just yet.

Is their best talent at home though? Dani Alves is, in my opinion, the best Brazilian in the world, not just in Europe. David Luiz and Thiago Silva might also be better than any of their forwards. Of course the comparison is tricky since comparing players out of positions is never easy, but I don't think their best talent is home. Just their youngest.

Since this doesn't necessarily pertain to attacking, I'm going to throw in another vote for Lucas Leiva.

yeah but how far have porto reached with him.. hes not played in the top cl games you know that right// he hasnt scored against really big opponents and led porto to victory against them.. hence

And thats his fault? If you put Messi on those Porto teams, they dont reach too far either. They do pretty well for themselves I think.

Top CL games? He has played Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester Utd, Atletico Madrid (who won the Europa League), Barcelona and Villareal.

Hulk is about alot more then scoring goals, in fact before last season he wasnt a good goalscorer at all. He brings other things to the table.

He performed very well in those games too, other then against Barca where he barely got the ball because of obvious reasons and he wasnt at his very best vs Chelsea either. But he gave Arsenal are troublesome time, he abused both La Liga clubs and Vidic didnt have a comfy ride either and Man Utd fans were chanting their famous "Fergie, sign him up" they reserve for players they feel did well.

I just dont understand this not proven thing. I mean, nobody say Santi Carzola is unproven, but he has done less then Hulk.

Now Falcao plays for Atletico, I guess if he plays well he is now "proven"? Same went for Lisandro Lopez, Lucho, Cissokho and others...all of a sudden, nobody says they arent proven anymore.
