The club's catalogue of loans this season has been abjectly horrendous. For as good as all the decisions concerning players and their destinations were last year, that's how awful they were/are this one. Truly a massive disappointment.

Well, I watched Salah often enough at Basel, and he was fast as lightning, but totally useless in front of the goal. The only matches where he actually scored meaningful goals were against Chelsea - and for some reason I have the impression these were the only matches the guys at the HSV saw of him, too Laughing

They were evidently all our own scouts looked at as well as I can't see any other reason to have shelled out £15m on him. The worst player we've had at the club in a long time.
