Re: Everton Football Club
They got Eric Dier on loan
Out of all the clubs to get a billionaire owner......they needed one the most.
It will be hard for Moyes to keep them moving forward

Re: Everton Football Club
I just don't understand why they are so broke. Surely they can get some the dutch or french league player for like 4 or 5 mill...better than not buying and strengthening the squad.
They are gonna really struggle.

Re: Everton Football Club
I feel sorry for them tbh. They are a decent club with a good history.
Bill Kenwright has tried his best but he just doesn't have the money to compete with other owners now.
Makes me feel very fortunate for The drumaville consortium who owned us previously and our current owner Ellis Short.
I think if Everton had the kind of investment we had over the past few years they would probably be a top 5 team.
If anyone deserves a rich owner I think it is them.

Re: Everton Football Club
no billionaire with the attitude of seeing football team as a business venture is going to want to buy Everton. They epitomize the blue collar workers club, located next to one of the biggest /most iconic clubs in the world, with no global appeal. There is no profit in that. If you are a sugar daddy, you would rather buy a cub that would appeal to the mass.
They can always hope for a passionate Everton billionaire to pop up and make them his/her charity case

Re: Everton Football Club
They have so much decent young talent, and players like Baines, Fellaini, Arteta they just need a freaking good striker.

I respect that but as i said he has taken the club as far as they can go.
There is nothin more he can do espcially with the club in dire straights.
Moving on wouldnt be disloyal as he has done everything he can.
He is a good coach and deserves the chance to go somewhere else where his skills can be better used

Re: Everton Football Club
Everton did their usual good last season and probably will this season, too.
But once their key players start declining, they might in for a rough time as a club if they still don't have the money to buy some decent names.
The next few years could be very significant for them. I hope they don't collapse, more fun beating them when they are a proper Premier League side.

But Manchester city if dif, in a sense that they do have the local fan base. And had a fairly big stadium to begin with.

Not only have they just brought in one player(on loan), it looks as though they have lost Arteta too.
