He's pissed off Arsenal sold them, and now he's surrounded by mediocre players.

Don't blame him, it's true. He was probably told "come to Arsenal, play with Cesc and Nasri and be part of our future project." 1 month later they leave

I think he means club with "big" ambitions, as in they like to spend money on quality players which generally leads to winning.

He could have joined Newcastle instead
