Kos, Gervinho & Walcott out

I'm so tired of only finding negative articles. This is my last one lol. Unless i have something positive to post, i won't.
Anyhow, these 3 are out for the CL game, but apparently have a "chance" to be ready for the weekend.

It sounds like they are just being rested. We're pretty much going out with our bench who have never played together today.
And people still back our physios and trainers...

We have no CB, this is so *bleep* sad. This is big CL game, we have to win it, there should be no resting players.

Shameful. Absurd. You simply should not be able to keep your job, if you cant do it (looking at you arsenal physios).
And when will RvP get some rest? he's played a ridiculous run of games consecutively (not counting cc)

So this means Song will play as a CB? or is Djourou fit?

I think Djourou is done man.
On September 23, Wenger said: "Djourou will miss the next week due to a muscular problem. It is the hamstring."

I think Wenger is saying, Djourous days are numbered at Arsenal.

Re: Kos, Gervinho & Walcott out
Yup, it's the medical teams fault for Koscielny and Gervinho picking up knocks in the Bolton match.
And we all know it's there fault that Walcott pulled up with sharp pain in his knee.
And I guess it's there fault that Wilshere's fracture didn't heal last month and thus required surgery.

We have one of the best Medical team in the world, and I don't blame them for any of our juries.

Re: Kos, Gervinho & Walcott out
Think about it like this:
Why would Wenger persist with a medical team that supposedly isn't doing it's job to satisfactory standards?
If our constant injury problems are blatantly because our medical staff is incompetent then one would think that Wenger would have replaced them. After all, the last person that wants injuries is Wenger.
Wenger may have made some strange and incorrect decisions in the last few years, but even he would not keep around a defunct team of doctors and physiotherapists if they were clearly not doing what they're supposed to be doing.
To me, it's obvious this is a much more complex problem. It's entirely feasible that our med staff are carrying out all the necessary procedures and following all their policies.
I find it strange that our plays seldom pick up injuries in training, but drop like flies on matchday. I'm not suggesting that other teams treat us too roughly, though I do believe it to be one of the contributing factors.
Most tellingly, how many times have we head: "the players weren't physically sharp today?".

Re: Kos, Gervinho & Walcott out
This is wack.
No other clubs deal with as many injuries we do every year, and this has been going on for the last 4 or 5 years now.
I don't know if its the training methods or it is indeed the medical team, but something needs to be shuffled up. We cannot keep going on about our business until we know what's wrong.
I personally think our players are too fragile and aren't getting enough physical training. I remember Fabregas commenting in an interview that at Barcelona their training is much more intense than at Arsenal.

Its a problem with the Feng Shui of Emirates.. Thats why the poor luck, poor injury records, poor trophy returns, etc etc etc.. We need to hang some good Feng Shui juju enhancing articles all around our stadium..

Re: Kos, Gervinho & Walcott out
This is getting ridiculous. It's a fact that had we a better medical staff over the last six years we definitely would have secured silverware. The line has to be drawn, either it's extremely coincidental bad luck that we lose key men in dire times or the far more plausible and likely, our medical staff don't know how to treat boo boos.

Re: Kos, Gervinho & Walcott out
Ughh, even Miquel is injured! I don't blame our medical staff for our injury troubles though. I blame bad luck, the fact that we get targeted by many teams in our league, and I think some of our players are the type of guys who would have injury troubles anywhere they went. Some of them need to drink more milk . At least none of these new injuries are long term, and in fairness I expected Walcott to be out for a little bit longer than maybe one week, so it could be worse.

Re: Kos, Gervinho & Walcott out
Shouldn't this be in the 'injury thread'?
Nevertheless it's annoying about the injuries but I if we are to miss all these players it's better to miss them for Olympiakos at home.
We need Gervinho, Koscielny, Walcott and even Benayoun all fit for Sunday.

Re: Kos, Gervinho & Walcott out
i cant agree.. Having the 1st(Verm) 2nd(Kos) 3rd(Djur) 4th(Miql) and even 5th(sqlci) injured at a time is just ridiculous... And half of them have hardly played matches to get injured...Raptorgunner wrote:lenear1030 wrote:Shameful. Absurd. I'd rather see Wenger himself go out on the pitch than Squi
