I always have a lot to say post game so I'm going to compile them here.

Firstly, it's good to hear Drogba will be ok, I hope he gets well soon.

Secondly, why on earth did we ever buy fernando? Lukaku looked more threatening than Torres has in his whole career here. If it were me, Torres would be dropped for Lukaku next week.

Thirdly, Ramires was the best man on the field, unbelievably underrated.

Mata has a bright future with us, amazing game from him and a fantastic goal.

Hilario looked good until the mix up and Lampard was once again invisable. Dissappinted Josh got no time at all.

Chelsea's all conquering team of the future:

Cech

Mikel

Sturridge - Lukaku - Mata

And finally, Lukaku > Torres.

Disagree with Torres though, he played better than Drogba(before the collision obvs) and just needs somebody to give him chances(Mata) although if he doesn't eventually start scoring then i'll be forced to agree with you.

Anekla looked lively, and will be a good sub imo, he has a strange style of play which can change up games I think.

But weiojtpioejjwe Mata was beautiful, passing was good(only missed 1 from memory) and we had somebody beating men with ease Seriously cannot wait to see more from him if he keeps that sort of display up, especially as he grows into the team and can link up with players etc.

i think theres a chance that some players in our squad have forgotten how to corss the ball, the amount of time a cross was on and instead they just passed the ball around was pathetic
hope we can get ivanovic back to RB asap, his flat crosses onto the far post are lethal

like lukaku too, hes got great sterngth but hes also got a bit of flashy footwork (few stepovers etc) if he can mix them into his game successfuly he may become a hybrid of drogba and an on form torres

My Torres statement was not saying that Lukaku is a better player but Lukaku is a better player for Chelsea.

I've given torres time and am yet to be impressed, while Lukaku has had half a game and I am impressed.

Yeah he looked good, I guess we'll just see. Although his one shot I felt he would have hit better if he took it earlier, but I'm definitely keen to see more of him with some confidence + when he's used to the league etc.

This season we are not looking like serious title contenders at all. I won't be surprised if we don't win the League.

I do believe, however, we will win some trophies this season but its going to take some time for AVB to name the best formation and starting line up.

Either City or United would take the title this year IMO

Yeah I would be happy with a top 3 finish.. easily. Our defense is kinda shaky atm. Maybe it will improve when DL4 comes in..

Very unhappy with the late goal, just sloppy from us imo. Also, Mata + Sturridge are there to provide some width and pace/life into our attack but Torres gets treated to the old, sloppy forward line that has done him no favors so far we looked like crap up front after Sturridge/Mata went off, don't understand why Anelka didn't go off for Torres.

Fourth, Meireles played well as a dep lying playmaker.

Some downsides, AVB's tactics, bring off Sturridge and Mata then bring on Torres? Makes no sense to me. Also, no McEachran, dissapointing.

However, Both Meireles and Romeu had good debuts but at times Romeu looked shakey.

Overall very happy. Well played boys, now time to beat Ballack and co.

hate it how our academy players get treated. Also hate the fact that Bertrand and McEachran have not made one appearance but lukaku + Romeu have made their debut.

very wierd tactics from avb in the 2nd half. I didn't understand why bring torres when he took off both mata and sturridge. But anyway am also getting really pissed off at why we bought torres instead of aguero.

I mean the guy had totally no confidence when he came on. There's still time so lets wait and see. But anyway bring on leverkusen.

Until he's been on the pitch with Mata and Sturridge for an appropriate amount of time I'm not gonna judge. Imo no point in playing him yesterday with the kind of service he was bound to get up front.

I still am dumbfounded as to why AVB took of Sturridge and Mata and then added Torres.

Anyone else the AVB could be 'saving' Josh for United next week? So far he has given our youngsters Debuts almost one at a time. Maybe he was Josh fresh for united incase we need him. It's the only logical explaination IMO.

Yes, if I were managing Chelsea I would have brought on Josh for Lamps, DL4 for Bosingwa, switch Ivanovic to rb. And Romeu for Meireles or Torres for Anelka.
