Re: Inter sign Poli
Stankovic is 32, Cambiasso is 30, Zanetti is 73... j/k -37. Poli is a great pick-up if this is true. He's only 20 years old. I know both AC Milan and Juve covet this lad. It's definitely a good investment for the future. He has a rapport with Pazzo as well.

SIGNING INTER: POLI TAKEN
The talented player to come now, Kucka in January. Palacio no: Zarate?
The Samp central midfielder arrives on loan. Forlan expects 5 million in arrears from Atletico.
Milan - "Calmly we will do all," said Massimo Moratti. The center of gravity of Inter transfer market is once again in Genoa with Andrea Poli (almost taken), Andrea Gastaldello (just talks), Juraj Kucka (half is taken) and Rodrigo Palacio (now closer to Roma). The moral here is that Inter, while waiting for Forlan to solve economic issue with Atletico Madrid who own him 5 million euros in arrears, have been unleashed.
Kucka yes, Palacio no In the very long meeting that took place in the Nerazzurri offices, Inter and Genoa have defined the purchase of Juraj Kucka: 3 million and half of Viviano for Preziosi. The Italian goalkeeper will remain at Inter this year to recover to his best from the injury. Other than Kucka, both clubs also talked about Rodrigo Palacio. The offer of Inter was 5 million plus half of Viviano to have Palacio fully and half of Kucka (with him staying in Genoa for another six months). Genoa, however, could not be moved from their higher request: 12 million plus half of Viviano for half of Kucka and all Palacio. So the deal went ahead for the Slovak which will remain with the Rossoblu until January. For the rat-tailed Argentinian, it will be hard and for whom now appear a glimpse of Roma.
Poli now and Gastaldello At this point, the question for Inter is how to deal with the fact Kucka is not coming until January? With Andrea Poli, born in '89, a midfielder who, a few weeks ago, seemed a step away from Juventus. The men of Inter transfer market (Marco Branca and Piero Ausilio) have hooked the Samp youngster based on a loan with right to purchase set around 6 million euros after 25 appearances with Inter. Poli will cover one of the demands of Gasp for the midfield and, above all, confirms the desire of Inter to Italianized the team gradually. Another idea for Italianization was Gastaldello, a central defender born in 83. Inter and Sampdoria talked about the possibility of a loan but it seems that in the head of Inter there is only Vertonghen.
Wes and Zarate perhaps But back to the attack: with the almost collapsed hypothesis for Palacio, Inter could now reconsider Zarate. The resistance of Lotito is always there as he wants only 20 million and avoids loan deal. But pay close attention to the developments of Sneijder: the latest reports suggest that Chelsea are on the horizon like two months ago. The Blues want Modric but if it doesn't happen, the Sneijder rumors should start again. Same thing for Arsenal but they are taking Hazard.

Re: Inter sign Poli
I just don't understand...Youth in Italy are disgracefully mismanaged
Yeah, some will say its only 6m, good deal...that's still 6 million Euros, and for what?
Why do we need to buy Poli? Crisiteg is a boss, Romano shows great promise too
If I was a youth player in Italy I would run as far as possible away from the big clubs...its career suicide
We sold Krhin less than a year ago...and now we buy Poli
That makes no fking sense

Re: Inter sign Poli
Sampdoria have agreed terms to hand Andrea Poli to Inter on loan with an option to buy, confirmed their director of sport.
“The Poli to Inter move has effectively been completed, although it will only be made official at the start of next week,” said Blucerchiati chief Pasquale Sensibile on fcinternews.it.
“Poli has been tracked strongly for at least two years by Marco Branca and his staff, even if we were only able to complete negotiations now because the transfer market has its own rules.
“Poli will move on loan with an option to buy. Inter will pay us a sum now and in June meet Samp again to discuss his position.
“We allow Poli to leave despite our respect for the player and maintain an excellent rapport with him, but we couldn’t deny him the opportunity to join a big club like Inter. It is an important chance for him to grow.”
Sensibile also confirmed negotiations included “taking out an option on an Inter youth player.”

Congratulations, my favourite Italian youngster.

Re: Inter sign Poli
i really dont get it ! so we sell eto and pandev, the only 2 guys on our team who can play out wide, and we buy forlan who plays in the same position as milito and pazzo ! and now we're buying a player in the only position that doesnt need backups ! we have 6 players there and we're only playing 2 ffs
seriously ! is our coach even involved in these transfers ?

Re: Inter sign Poli
forlan plays a support role, he'll be fine. and poli can be great if he's given ample playing time, although i do agree that the fact they haven't bought a natural winger is puzzling
