Yohan Modric wrote:Kaka just isn't good enough nowadays.
Even at his peak <<< Ozil.
Now you are either massively overrating Özil or massively underrating Kaka or both. (or just trolling)
Kaka in his peak was a ballon d'or winner and arguably one of the best players in the last 10 years. He was a one man army ffs. He may be crap now, but he was truly great. What he did in his short prime made him a legend in Milan, had it lasted longer he could have become a legend of the game.

Re: Ricardo Kaka
Kaka is a double edged sword.
With him starting, Madrid never loses, without him, Madrid never wins convincingly, and when they do win, the taste of winning is bitter. This, my friends, is the Kaka curse and it is here to stay.

Re: Ricardo Kaka
I hate to say this
I like the way he's playing....he's working very very hard out there and it's benefiting his attacking game. If he continues like this then there's a place for him here...at least this year.
Not as a starter but as something functional within the team.
Of course that could also open up a pandora's box of problems as Ozil and Modric are playing his position.

Re: Ricardo Kaka
No, Kaka is not back; he's been here from the start since last season.
Some of you deserve better than be told to notice how he lead the team; he was a great captain to a brilliant Brazil NT. Hats up to Neymar as he was more excited for Kaka scoring and assisting than Kaka himself. Neymar truly deserves better than to be playing with Real Madrid; Neymar is a Barca player in the making. What a great player.

Kaka might be a 60 minute player, old Slow Player & maybe not as good as he once was. But he is still Decent. A pretty good Player. I still think he over 45 minutes can be better than Di Maria.

He's still got skills man. Sometimes it shows. He's not really a head-less chicken like Di Maria.
He's still a damn Good 60 minute player if Mourinho knew how to get the best out of him , atleast he can be a Good Sub. Fact is given how good Mourinho is , he has failed with many players, Sahin included and in this case he has failed with Kaka too.

Kaka is slower not slow and he isn't old yet not even in footballing terms, Ryan Giggs, 39, is old but still plays, Drogba, 34, led Chelsea to Champions league glory last season, he was easily the best attacker on the pitch for Chelsea even at his ripe age.
Folks Kaka can still make bursting runs as he demonstrated against Ajax, Iraq, Milan (in Preseason) etc, he can still slice up back lines with his through passes and cut into the penalty box using nippy footwork, he can still score with both feet.
With every match Kaka is rebuilding the confidence that injury and bench time took away from him, at 30 he is "still very dangerous and opponents fear him" to borrow the words of Mano Menezes, hopefully he will silence the doubting Thomas's come Tuesday when he faces Japan, a tougher opponent.

Welcome to the Forums
I don't get the joke. Thank you anyway for the welcome. Are you a Madridista? I love Madrid to bits and am really excited about the current state of the club, Mourinho is doing a great job returning Madrid to the top of the pile where it belongs. However I haven't been particularly pleased with his man management, his handling of Kaka, Sahin, Carvalho, Altintop, Granero. He could have handled these individual cases much better.

Re: Ricardo Kaka
mou didnt fail with sahin
sahin's body failed, and wasnt exactly able to give what was expected, infact wasnt able to play at all
as for kaka, given the chances he got and he got plenty its all on him. he is a player who already was at madrid before mou joining, a player who was injured when mou joined and got injured again
its not easy to get the best out of a glass-player that once he is on form again breaks and you have to start from the beggining
if i aint mistaken mou wanted him out of the squad but he doesnt want to leave.
by the looks of it its the player that does not perform and not the coach that doesnt make him to
