Let me recap to you juventus 97-98 season, correct me juve fans if i am wrong here They won the Double that year. Zidane was their Star player. He was deployed behind Inzaghi n Del pierro and was instrumental. It wasnt a co-incidence that zidane didnt play well in the european final and juve couldnt play well either.

To top it off, He was a key to France win over Brazil as well. All that resulted in him winning Ballon D'Or
