Lets make a starting XI out of the players who left a club for "success" and certainly not for the $alary...

and honestly, utterly stupid xi... mata and aguero both left clubs with no hope to win anything, and if you take a realistic point of view so did clichy and nasri... etoo on the other hand has won everything imaginable on club level, surely you can save the hate for going to earn extra money...

Xavi, Iniesta have literary won every trophy there is, should they go to some foreign playground club aswell and earn up some retirement funds?

Nasri could stayed with Arsenal and be a key player, instead he join city for a bigger salary and without a guaranteed starting spot.

Mata were in negotiations with both spurs and arsenal and rejected both because chelsea gave him bigger salary, last time I checked Arsenal still have a richer football history.

Aguero could play for any big club in the world, instead he chose City, again because of salary. Its not like city is such a prestigous club to play for like juve, real madrid and barcelona..

Aguero didnt leave for money ffs

City where the only CL contenders left interested, that's why he left to City.

Chelsea have Torres now, they are not interested.

Real Madrid changed their mind and gave Benzema a chance.

Juventus arent even CL contenders.

Why is he a mercenary for that? Or are you just throwing mercenary around to everyone that joins City nowadays?

What about players like Rooney who also tried to engineer moves to get more money.

Suppose you have always worked for a company, say, for example, FIAT which was once great but now not so much. You have worked there for a good amount of years and most people regard you as a company man. Then suppose another more important player in the industry comes and says to you "We'd like to offer you a job with more responsibility, a higher paycheck, and more success".

9 out of 10 people would take it. Most of you would, too. Does that make you a money grabbing whore or just a professional?

People need to stop hatin' on players for making money.

both Toure brothers didn't leave just for money... Kolo had to leave because of Gallas.....and Yaya was a not getting games at Barca....
