God of the week
Re: God of the week
xabi wrote:god of the week should be place back on track and not this trolling crap, with wenger as an opinion. When people scored hatricks or impressed they became god of the week back in the day
remember berbagod
That is what I mean, why are they considered Gods ? I mean, Jose Mourinho still lost v. Barcelona for example, why is he a "God" for the week ?
Stellar performances should be noticed. Vidal, Messi, etc.

Think Aguero put his chances to bed, though.

Re: God of the week
It's more of a joke/sarcasm tittle, whoever gets god of the week isn't really the best player of the week, but attracts some kind of attention and is talked about largely. BerbaGod was a good example after scoring goals for fun last year, but we all knew he wasn't world class

Aguero was great in 20 minutes of the first match against Swansea. Silva was great in 180 minutes... Just saying he deserves a mention
edit: Oh right... I was under the impression this thread was serious...
OK then, definite god of the week right here:

Re: God of the week
God of the week was killed by people making threads titled "XXXX For God of the Week!!!"
Almost a year later, many people still don't seem to grasp the concept

Hey bro, I am not saying it is justified ! But people have a habit of doing that. He was a big money move and had a big game so he is automatically a God in the eyes of people.

Re: God of the week
well, we can all agree on how the god of the week should be picked, wether it should be serious or sarcastic, and we'll do it right starting next week
