Rooney is the best player in the EPL - Ian Rush

Liverpool´s most scoring player, Ian rush (346 goals in 660 games for pool) is guesting
a Norwegian TV channel this saturday during the liverpool-arsenal game. In advance he got asked wich premier league player he thought was the absolute best at the moment and his answer was Wayne Rooney.

Yes, Rooney is the best player in the PL currently.

Aguero will out perform him this season

Probably amongst the best in EPL but certainly no "white Pele".

I think he's overrated, probably partly due to my bias in me disliking manu. I just don't think he's all that he's cracked up to be.

Guess Aguero is his "challenger" this season as the drog is getting old and tevez dont even want to play in our great league

RVP was the best striker in the world last year (if you don't count Messi and Ronaldo) as strikers

RVP was better than rooney last season ... when rooney showed up last season it was already mid season took like 2 months to score and scored a couple of goals, RVP scored 21 goals last season ...
