What should we look like this season?

Im not only talking about starting XI, im talking about the entire squad too. Who do you think we should buy/sell? How shoild we start?

I personally hope we look like this:


With Storari, Manninger, Barzagli, Sorensen, Alex, Ziegler, Pazienza, Giandonato, Pirlo, De Silvestro, Boniperti, Del Piero, Toni, Vucinic.

I love how ppl underestimate Vucinic and yet we have no1 more talented in the attack than him ..

You forgot Alex on the bench I agree we should start the season with this formation as Quagliarella hasn't played serie a for a long time now, and should be used as sub in the beginning. On the other hand i feel he is more a bianconeri then Vucinic, but that is probably just because i haven't got used to mirko in the black and white shirt.. In a 4-3-3 we can get the best out of our midfield (which i actually think is the strongest part of our team in this formation).

If we sign Alex or Lugano, they should both be starter over Bonucci. Alex would be SO good.. He is the best defender in chelsea often so he sure is better then Bonucci! but then again.. Using Bonucci would be focusing on the future, using Alex would send a signal that we seek immediate results and glory.. (That's what we do, so bonucci is a prime sub in my opinion). Lugano would better compete with bonucci, but alex is a starter that's for sure..

This i think is going to be the most probable lineup if we dont make additional signings that is..

All in all it still looks a great lineup and the depth on the bench is evident..

Although a powerful centre back like Alex would do little harm..Infact he'd be even starting over Bonucci if he arrived..

At this point in time i'd like to think that only a CB signing would be sufficient for this season in terms of transfers..

Honestly if the coach uses a 4-3-3 i dont think there is a need for a left winger honestly..

Pasquato and Quagliarella can be rotated with Vucinic plus we have to consider the fact that Quags has the capability of playing on the wings as well..

Throughout the Pre-Season we've seen Conte using 4-2-4 and i checked the lineups of trofeo berlusconi(which is tonight btw ) and it seems that he wants to try out pirlo-vidal combination in midfield..

But personally speaking we should go for a 4-3-3 because i feel we are well-equipped for this particular formation..Anways we'll see whats gonna happen once the season kicks off..

As much as, with the players we have presently, I would like to deploy a 4-3-3, all pre-season signs point to a 4-2-4. So I will confine my hopes to that framework.

It should be a healthy battle between PDC and Ziegler for the left back berth. I trust Conte to choose the best fit, for the right occasions.

Pirlo is a world class playmaker, but he hardly runs, rarely tackles, and never goes into a 50/50 expecting to win. Against weaker teams, we could play Pirlo and Vidal, but that takes away from Vidal so much of his scope for creating and scoring goals. So, best to stick with marchisio and vidal.

up front, quagiarella is going to need time, to recover himself mainly mentally. It was a nasty injury, and that one pre-season knock on the same spot, seems to have concerned him and the medical staff greatly enough to keep him out of competitive action since. DP is still capable of brilliance, but close to 37 years old. ANY team challenging for any sort of serious success does not use a 37 year old as a starter in attack. He can be super sub. come on often, win free kicks, score some wondergoals. But not starting.

Toni is old, but can be useful. Nowhere near a starter. Iaquinta is basically dead. Amauri is on his way out, and rightly so. So that leaves us, two healthy, quality and happy strikers: Vucinic and Matri. They simply HAVE to take the middle striker roles.

I agree that Juve have to play with 4-3-3 so therefore :

Subs: Storari (GK) Sorensen & Barzagli (CB's) Ziegler (LB) Motta (RB) Pazienza & Ekdal (CM) Pasquato & Pepe (WF's) ADP & Quagliarella & Toni (ST's)

And i want to add some new name someone as Alex (CB) and some new RB and if its possible a new CM or maybe Marrone to stay as back up

I like the 4-3-3 because it is flexible
For instance:
65th minute Pirlo out- Pasquato in

Boom 4-2-4

Vucinic straight swap for Quagliarella

Pirlo off for Del Piero, another 4-2-4 but Vucinic out wide

My favourite thing about a 4-3-3 would be the starting midfield of Marchisio-Pirlo-Vidal, very nice balance

Totally agree with you Luca..We have the resources and the foundation to put forward one competitive team..

I mean this team is perfectly equipped for a 4-3-3 formation..

But obviously the coach should realize this..

Pretty sure we would go with a 4-2-4 once the season starts..But if it is not working and the coach persists with it then i' m afraid it would be del neri all over again..

Anyways cant wait for the season to kick-off..

Krasic flops as AM trust me

I think the 433 would work great as well, but a long as we start a marchisio-vidal midfield, I like the 424 even more. I mean, Vidal is not a typic midfield destroyer. Hes also very good goi forward and his passing range js verygood, and of course the same goes for marchisio. So its not like were depending solely ob marchisio to be the passer in midfield like we would if wed partner him with melo. So theres rely no need for pirlo.

Id rather have:

(Great passer/good tackler) & (Great tackler/good passer) + a left winger.

Rather than:

(great passer/good tackler) & (great tackler/good passer) + another passer, albeit an excellent one.
